I built this because I felt I needed some range that 2MLs just weren't giving me. The Heat only went up .5 and I can live with that but I had to drop from SRM6s to the SRM4s. Some prefer 4s over the 6s for their tighter pattern. I started with a ERLL but decided on the LL for heat. Named it Duality after the suggestion below. Many Thanks.
The choice of an ER laser suggests you're engaging at long range: do you really use the SRMs? If no, why not trading them for a bigger engine? If yes, I'd say a standard LL is better.
Actually I did switch to the LL and it's working out great. I carry 3 tons SRM ammo and rarely return home with more than 50 left so Yes I do use them. This has turned out to be my Fav D-9 build to date. It's funny tho... If I survive the first 4 minutes of the match I'm usually there at the end LOL
Yup. Great build. You can bring constant pain with that heat efficiency and keep great distance with that speed. Me gusta.
