You'll have enough armor to take a good beating, but, are maneuverable enough to avoid most of it while still maintaining a lot of offensive capability. With minimal control, the heat rarely becomes an issue. I only use the lasers on opening salvos or when a mech is almost down, letting the ammo save me some heat build-up. She's a little slower than most 9-D builds, but, for the firepower, I'm willing to take 105. I've been having a lot of fun with this build this evening. Most rounds come in around 400-500 damage, one at 630. Easily has the range to pick up a lot of assists and can finish off a few mechs in the process. Chatt.
