    Revised Build
I added 1/2 more ton of SRM ammo at the expense of 1/2 ton of MG ammo. If you need more, you'll have to shave off more armor from the shield arm, head, and/or legs or drop to a slower engine. I haven't had problems with 25 shots with all 3 SRMs personally.

    Original Build

It's the obvious build one sees when they look at the hardpoints and how to make it different from the other Centurions. Use the SRMs to strip armor and the MGs to crit.

Sjorpha's build (trades a smaller engine for more armor and SRM ammo, great build!)

Sjorpha's speed variant (loses Artemis for more speed)

Sjorpha, I love your take and would like to see you get credit, so I moved yours up to the OP with your name. I hope you don't mind.

Edit: Changed the name to something a tad bit more applicable and original.

Your smurfy link seems wrong somehow, I build it like this. Not sure if it's the same as yours.

    Quite a beast.

You put a smaller engine in to fit more ammo and you left more armor in the shield arm. Certainly not a bad idea.

I think losing artemis for max speed may be fun too.

Just a thought... but is it really a zombie if it has no weapons CT?
One could argue the CN9-A does this better, but the Machine Guns could likely cause crits and kill targets faster. I suppose people will have to try it. It's a good option for those who love the CN9-A build but are tired of it at the same time.

Plus... you know... 30% c-bill bonus.

    I'll change the name.

As far as the MGs, the 3 ballistic slots are what make this variant different, so I just wanted to capitalize on that.

Please don't take my comments as a complaint. I enjoy the options :)
I also wonder about 3 MG vs 2 ML. if you have 3xSRM6A you open targets FAST... and the MG may be much more efficient.

Thank you for sharing your build!

One thing I am finding is that if you can't really make use of the 3 ballistic hardpoints if you are shielding your torsos, so to me the 3 SRM-6+A are essential because you are packing as much firepower as possible into your torsos. You basically get a Griffin or Shadow Hawk minus the JJs and MLs, but with the ability to shield quite a lot of damage with the LA and also the RA if you lose the LA.

Either that or pack 1 heavy ballistic in the RA and go for a streak or SRM version of the Yen Lo Wang.

    5/5,
Popular as hell currently. And for a reason. I'm one of who uses it too, despite hating how it's so mainstream.

Thanks for the vote up! Being such an obvious build, it really belongs to the community.

It's popular mainly because it's the most obvious use of the hardpoints I think. In my opinion, using XLs on a Centurion kind of defeats the purpose of the Centurion's strengths. Yen Lo Wang is different because...its YEN LO WANG, the legendary mech of Justin Allard and Kai Allard-Laio...but I digress.

To truly use its survivability, it seems to me you'd want most of its firepower in the torsos, and that means 3x SRM6+A. Unfortunately, it's a low amount of firepower compared to a Griffin, Stormcrow, or even an Adder! It's not my favorite chassis, but most of the other builds people have come up with don't play to a Centurion's strengths, in my opinion. On a positive note, this thing rocks at dueling!

My variation. Finally a use for the STD260 from Thunderbolts/Jagermechs, and 5t of ammo is pretty especially since you get to keep the Artemis.

    5/5,
Running this build and it destroys components left and right... gets me quite a few kills also :)

Seems like a good build, but it just doesn't work for me. With all those clanners who can pack 70 alpha with ease, such a squishy brawler without high mobility and jumpers just dies too fast. And playing supportive when enemies are engaged with your allies already is pretty hard with such a short-range weapon.
