Yen Lo-Wang "Shadow" (1xLL, 2xAC2, AMS, XL295)

Can do a TON of damage, but, daaaaaaamn is she hot! I've run similar in my CN9-D, but, with 300 rounds and an extra heat sink. This thing can murder. One of the best kill-stealers I've run just for how quick you can put out damage as the high-alpha builds are reloading.

One question, though. Why all the ammo in the side torso? I'm sure you have a good reason, just wondering.

You could use an XL280 with a heatsink in? Would run a little cooler (38%) and tweaked do a smidge under 100kph.

Not sure it would be worth it as you should shoot and switch position anyway, so cooling off.

 

I love double AC/2s on centurions!
And the LL is interesting thanks to its range.

It was my first thought, but if I compare with my own twin AC/2 centurion I have a similar cooling efficiency, so it might be ok. Depends on how much he uses the laser.

If I had to add one more DHS I would remove AMS rather than downgrading the engine. I feel like the speed is one of the best asset this mech has.

 

AHHHHAHA! My good Sir, you are crazy. Rushed a K2 and his friend, three kills, hilarious commentary and CALLING OUT LEONHART IN THE END! SO funny. A hearty "lol" had by all.

 

lolz, you realize that it took 4 games to get that outcome and even then, a damn good portion of your damage was from the LL. And in the end...pretty low damage man...im not impressed. 3 kills is good though.

As for calling me out. Bring it, im all for competition. I dont know how to make videos but add eSyLeonhart to your friends and ill show you what i can do. I'll even a make a nice little mech that uses only 2 a/c2s like you did. I wont mass 3 or 4.

Crazy charge! I which I had people like you in my team more often, cause I'm usually the one capping Theta and shooting "push theta dammit" at my cowardly teammates who camp the bridge and block each others while I'm being slaughtered by the enemy team.

Still you can do much better with 2 AC/2s.

So after playing 3 games with nothing but 2 a/c2s and 1 LL just like vergere but in a firebrand( forgive me, i dont have a YLW anymore ) I took screenshots but am failing on figuring out how to post them.

But here are the results:

Game 1. Defeat- i had 1 kill and 7 assists with 681 damage being dealt. 81 match score.
Game 2. Victory but i died - 2 kills 8 assists with 794 damage dealt. 105 match score.
Game 3. Victory and survived - 1 kill and 8 assists with 562 damage. 83 match score.

Keep in mind i havnt used a/c2s or my firebrand in over a month. And most importantly, i never said a/c2s CANT do good....where the hell did you get that from? I just said they are sub-par. Stop twisting my words.

My challenge is still on the table. I did much better than you at your own game. I even did it in less games.

 

Like i said, i dont have a wang or any a medium that has 2 ballistic slots. I had to use a heavy but tried to keep it close as possible. And no, i still believe they are sub-par. If i was using my typical weaponry...the numbers would be much higher. and AGAIN, i never said the CANT be good. jesus....

Anyway, good rounds with that FB, Leon. I personally love AC/2s now, but, I hated them for a looooong time. They are a very low power, high speed weapon. Using them up close will dish out a lot of damage, but, will also result in you taking a lot more damage yourself. Very give-and-take.

I love them. However, I totally see why a lot of players don't. It's just preference. A lot of people love the 2xPPC/Gauss combo and while I do have some very high damage rounds in that build, I just don't enjoy running it. It's not enjoyable to me. All comes down to the feel of a weapon to the player and what is fun for each of us.

 

No you're good. Im smiling to. Vergere hasnt offended me or pissed me off or anything and i love a good challenge.

God, I hope. I love AC/2s. Maybe they'll be back to what they were a month and a half ago. /fingers crossed
