The firestarter is stock though.

 

The Grid Iron is splendid, never though one day I'd see such beauty.

(but enileph is correct, the FS9 is the stock loadout)

 

If flamers had any reasonable effect whatsoever it might be halfway effective too!

 

Stock maybe --but why running it?

 

My guess? Probably a new player who didn't know any better than to buy a new mech and not upgrade it at all, since all they had used was a premade trial mech.

 

To be fair I would not hold anything against stock build runners, even in public.

Surely they suck at performing, but it is the *ROOTS* of this game to start with.
I would wish they do it in private matches in stockbuild mondays though.

That said, I would definitely suggest them to upgrade their builds if they can.

 

My guess is a slightly modified stock build, so I kept the single heat sinks, CASE and BAP:

 

Did not screen cap it, but over the last few days, I saw a freaking 12 C-Flamer Dire Wolf.

He ran out of ammo about 90 seconds later.



Little bit hard to see, it's a SHD-2K sporting an LRM20, LRM5 and Streak-2. Apparently unconcerned about ECM, which is a shame considering the LOW SIGNAL showing on the minimap.

 

How stupid it is to mount 2 AC/2s on the Ember, when 3 easily fit...
(before you ask, yep, I tried, I even killed stuff )

He was AFK until literally the MOMENT they shot him, then he moved. Got 2 damage, but what a worthless fucking build...

Yes, this is the new Zeus, so the owner should have some established resources.
Probably do it for the LRM ammo., which he runs out of as you can see.
Just simple Endo would allow for the extra tonnage of the LRM ammo.

That said, he is with decent skill, even after being stripped of all guns, he defeated the last spider with base turret!

Found this guy during a VERY weird match...he didn't do very well though.



I thought this one was stock at first...but no, he did this on PURPOSE! That's a stock engine btw, STD 245, and he definitely had SHS. Hopefully he comes here to fix it...

 

The weaponry is one thing, but mind the speed:

Only topped by a Jenner i saw running at 60kph. Was so astonished that i forgot to screenshot...

 

I can't make it out...what weapons did the COM have? Looks like an LRM5 and can't see the other

 

It was a ER Large Laser and LRM5 + Artemis; sorry for screenshot quality. 2 sec later he was dead.
But...90 kph! All of my Mediums are faster.
Would have told him/her to come here, but quitted to fast.
