A desync death with a laughable build on top At least there was a silver lining!

 

The screenshot describes the excruciatingly embarrassing death I had after buying a new mech:



I was standing at Theta in the cauldron and was volleyed through the back within 1 second of pressing return on the first comment...

The shame.... :blush:

PS: Yes that is the first time I've even sat in any variant in the chassis as I was saving them till last to do.

 

It could've been worse Remarius. At least you didn't say something like "I'll show you bitches how this is done" beforehand

 

I spec'ed this guy today, what was going through his mind when he made this?

What is it with Locust pilots and doing this?

 

Grinding XP for assists and tagging maybe?
Maybe they've just read how awesome MGs are for critting and misread the fact about the open armor?

 

Not sure on why thats a problem. I had someone in lance running in a similarish build the other day and targetting for my LRM boater. He called every target for me as if it was in the open or cover, tagging where it wouldn't give away his position, etc. I got 6 kills, he got a lot of targetting rewards and our team walked it. Win-win.

Not like you can do much with a Locust.

 

Where's all of the extra tonnage??

 

Heat sinks and maxed engine? ... I kid thee not seen how much heat those generate.

That Nova makes me cringe, if only because I made a serious attempt at building a Ballistic-based Nova when I first got them. I even made one that was semi-playable...but they're laughable compared to the laser builds

 

I'm speechless...

 

I've seen a few people playing around with different nova builds in anticipation of the nerfs. Usually its not an all out ballistic build though.

 

That having said, Wish I can see this in action!
