Something the guys on the main forums were speculating, What if they sold the new Vindi hero along with two of its normal variants in the same mastery pack that the Cataphract or Stalker got? That would be so sweet. I would buy that.

We will be revealing more details about this Chassis’ hero and Variants in the upcoming Vlog. In the meantime here is the information on the release schedule for this ‘Mech. Release Schedule August 19th Vindicator Hero August 26th Vindicator Standard Variants Available for MC September 2nd Vindicator Standard Variants Available for C-bills and Camo Spec Patterns for MC" So tomorrow
Wolverine Hero, I am hoping for next. Griffin seems good enough to start with, Shadowhawk is already everything and the hero is not going to make them better either. Last hero was assault, so wishing for something lighter, medium is a good choice. Oh, the pool should be updated again.
We just had assault (BLR-1GHE), light (SDR-A) and will get medium (Vindicator) today so by that argument its a heavy after this.
The Thunderbolt is the last heavy without a hero...makes guessing easier^^ In case they dont come up with something completely new (like the Vindi).
Yeah I don't think they've really every stuck to the rota system but I haven't paid too much attention despite havng almost all of them.
From my understanding, and im at work right now so i cant find the specific post in MWO forums, but the Mauler has been confirmed as a upcoming mech, and with all the assaults having a hero at this point. Plus the statement that they are returning to the PRE clan release platform of hero, then MC then cbill release. Then the next hero mech could potentially be a MAULER... :-D
Hmm, that would be interesting to see confirmation that the Mauler is going to be released. The issue is that I don't think there are 3 stock Maulers that have exclusively 3050's technology. From what I can tell, only the MAL-1R (4 AC2s, yes please!), and the MAL-3R really fit the technology of the era. (Sarna does have the MAL-1PT5, but seems like it would have the same hardpoints as the 1R.)
Maybe they same types of hardpoint but a few tweaks and a few hardpoints added, that would make all the difference. All it takes is an extra energy hardpoints with dual AMS vs an extra pair of missile hardpoints.
DONE!!! I included all the available IS Mech Chassis in the Poll. Maybe you want a second Hero for some older Mechs, just like the Dragon has two Heroes. Pls always include a Hero-Build Suggestion. PGI members might check this poll and include some of our Ideas. Who knows? -> God knows!
Why there is no Hero of the best medium Chassis, the ShadowHawk?? Seriously, 1 variant with 1 ballistic (LT), 1 missile (CT or RT) and 5 energy (2 in each arm, 1 in LT) could be SO funny to run Alternatively, in the same weight, a Griffin Hero could be epic: that sort of mech that few ppl master, but lot of ppl see the potential, and all them enjoy cause its a joy to pilot, but now with 1-2 Ballistic Slots, 2 missile and 3-2 energy This chassis just need a little dakka to be loveable
I voted for the Thunderbolt, because i find this Mech amazingly survivable. If it gets a Hero with a CT-Energy-HP, and 2x Ballistic HPs in each Sidetorso i believe it can be a great Challenger against the Jagermech (High Arms-Cannons or better Survivability with Zombiemode?). Would buy it.
