not by choice... I opt'd-in before I knew what faction I had assigned... was merc corps when i otped-in, but I changed to Davion so hopefully it reads as that...
Yeah, Solahma, I took another look at the rules, and it looks like, so long as you changed your faction BEFORE the tournament itself actually started, the change will be reflected. So if, like you, someone opts in today, and then changes their faction tomorrow, their newly selected faction will be the one applied to them when the tournament starts on Friday. So no worries.
Right now I'm FRR, also known as space Vikings in an earlier thread. I've been thinking to switch to Kurita though.
House Davion ... same entity I played since 1985 or 1986 so no contest. Davion forever and *** the rest.
LOL how come you don't fly the Davion Avatar then? Traitor You damn Davions... always running around getting in the way of the Steiner plans!!
Hrmmmm, its a close one between Davion and FRR... Get your friends to come and vote in on this... I'm curious to see what the division of players actually are.
How about an option for "I'm going to be avoiding MWO this weekend because the tournaments bring out the worst in everyone."
LOL that's not very positive now is it? Just participating gives you a Dropship Cockpit item. That makes it worth at least showing up.
Yeah, I was exaggerating a bit in my post. I won't be actively competing, but I'll still be playing, trying to level up my Banshees.
Chose Marik even though I like the Kurita more. Went Marik because the people I played with most went there... but now none of us are really playing much. I might turn traitor in a couple months.
Interesting... while this is just a micro-universe here at MechSpecs if the game division follows suit then Davion and FRR seem the most popular houses.
Wonder if I should switch to a house (lonewolf now as I'm pug - at least until CW comes out). I like Marik the most, but it seems wrong to pick a house without actually being in a group/organization/clan.
That may be true but your odds of getting higher scores increase signifcantly. Whether its across the whole house or just the top 50.
