Does this seem normal? First time I've ever experienced it, and it kinda freaked me out. Where's my money?! Where's my XP?! Anyone else ever experienced something like this? My theory is that it may have been because I technically killed myself. (I ran out of bounds like a crazy derp while chasing an enemy Catapult. ) But in what universe would that make sense?
Funny you brought this up - I took a screen cap of an end of round screen last night where I only got 700xp in Skirmish when I had like 600 dmg, 2 kills, 6 assists, 7 component destruction. I know Conquest seems to give out lower cbills/xp for dmg, but I assumed skirmish was more like assault. A few games later, I did less in each of those categories and still got 600 something xp which made no sense.
Possibly a new bug that came in with the latest patch and/or hot-fix, where players occasionally don't get their C-Bills and XP for the victory, and instead only get whatever they made in dmg and kills/assists/etc.? That's just wrong!
Come to think of it Pyrex and I wondered why our C-Bill earnings were so redicilously low last night... I just put it down to being off the premium time clock but maybe there is an issue? Can't recall specific numbers but made little over 100K (maybe 140K? Though 110 is stuck in my head) for a win @ ~550 damage, 9 component, 6 kill match (conquest I think) seemed rather low to us.
JESUS FUCK!!! Trying to Master my Ember, I ran 12-15 rounds in my Ember (more than 2/3rd of those are wins) only 3000 XP on that mech??? WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! I HAD GOD DAMN WELL BETTER GET MY PREMIUM TIME BACK! I had not paid attention. However, after watching my XP tonight, I'm fucking pissed!!! We give SO much money to this game for MC/Heros/Premium Time. Why the FUCK are we getting screwed over for THEIR mistake! My Premium time is still running.... and I'm not even getting MINIMUM XP/CBills. Let alone the "bonus" I get for PAAAAYYYYINNNNG THEM!!! I gave them my own fucking money and am now left pulling my own pud... Summary: Bullshit.
I sent an email... I understand them wanting screen caps, however, I had just been chain-dropping and didn't pay attention to the rewards until I'd been dropping all evening and noticed that after more than a dozen rounds, I'd only gained 3000xp... There are PLENTY of people having this same issue and posting screen caps... They know it's happening. They just don't want to take responsibility.
If you buy new blocks of it then yes, it is banked until you activate it. If you are running premium time there is no way to stop running it and bank it. If PGI refunds some premium time for you it should be banked until you activate it.
I know what is. I'm saying that it is something they should change. At least give us the opp to chop it up into blocks. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has responsibility beyond MWO and goes days without playing while your premium time ticks away... Sorry, off topic I know.
