I have a question, as a pal of mine just declared, that you are only awarded the assists you get when dead, (enemies killed after your untimely demise) if you stay online spectating, they are void when logging out. As he read it on the forums, is it true, or was he a victim of the trolls over there?
No, true. Stay to get all assists, drop out and you won't get them any but the ones you already have at time of death. You will get the split from the win/loss of course but nothing on assists after death. Stay after death and get any additional assists on kills after your demise.
I thought it was somewhere in between the two... you only get the assists for which you are there. Shoot 6 people and two of them are killed by teammates before you go down. If you immediately bail you get the credit for 2 assists, stick around for the end and you could get up to 6 assists. I haven't tested that myself, maybe I'll do that tonight.
Thats what Lan said. Have to admit if its a particularly awful death I just quit out anyway but then I usually forget the assist thing. If I remember I just tab out and do something else on the comp.
im leveling 3 madcats at the moment and Im reading alot too.... Its worth sometimes to wait till the end....
Well when not pvping in Eve or FPS'ing I have a large industrial side going (also in Eve to plex my accounts and fund my insane fits/ships) so its a perfect time to adjust Jita buy/sell prices. Coincidentally when waiting out my 5 minute match finding timer you can guess what I'm doing (well that or checking twitter/skype/mIRC etc). I just tell people in lance to warn me when we're about to start. PS: for those that don't play Eve online Jita is the main trade hub and theres a minimum 5 minute price change restriction.
LOL, never seen that before. But, of course I meant young but nevertheless experienced professional gypsie women...
