yup Centurion-D comes with an XL300, a very useful engine. You can strip the mech for LBX and LRM10+A and ammo as well. The engine comes out to be a million cheaper after you sell the chassis.

I'm planning on buying a Cataphract 3D. Nice ballistic and energy hardpoints, and an XL-280 which I need for my Raven build.

Yes, even with the wonderful BW, Ilya is the one that can run 3xLBX10 or even 3xAC10 smoothly.

 

New sale, Hellbringers and Battlemasters, Stalkers might be the best mechs to get if you don't have them already.

 

Finally picked up a trio of BLRs, but I won't be able to play them until I get back from vacation. Looking forward to it.

 

I'm saving up to get a full array of Ebon Jaguars, as I already own Hellbringers and Battlemasters.

Cbill value wise, you're better off getting clan than IS mechs, unless those come with XL engines, like one of the Battlemasters.

Well, now that some kind of sale seems to be rolling out regularly, I'm just going to make a master list to reference. For completionism, I'm going to list things that aren't currently out for CBills. even though we obviously don't know their exact costs yet, but smurfy gives enough info on what the stock loadouts are. Still worth commenting on best buys during each individual sale. Hint: EBJs/HBRs good, IFRs are for pokemech collectors only, KFX is a nice little support light. IS chassis this time around depend largely on playstyle and what you don't already have.

 

Got myself 3 BLRs, maybe will get some EBJ, if i can save some CBills till the end of Sale

 

I need mech bays to go on sale again. I missed the last one (new years I think?) by literally 10 minutes. I was pissed alllll day, as I was waiting for them to go on sale for seemingly forever. Of course the week I take off of MWO is during the mech bay sale.... the surpressed rage is flooding back, haha

OMG it's a beast!

 

Oh yeah! My favorite! 2x UAC10s on the right, 3x ERML on the left shoulder. Awesome peeking from either side with the same weapon groups, super high mounts, great DPS with seemingly lower jams than UAC5s. I love that mech!

 

ALL EBJ are the same since CT does not have any useful quirks.
Just get the three with the pods you need first.

 

Yeah, I was thinking Prime and C just for versatility sake. Just hope I can scrape up enough C-Bills before this sale is over.
