VTR-9B "Maximus" (1x LRM15+A, 1x LRM10+A, 2x LL, 3x MG, 4x JJ, AMS, XL330)

    Using this build to master my Victors.
    You can use your XL 330 if you have a Dragon Slayer like me, the LRM's keep enemies at long range, the Large Lasers melt armor and if you come at close range, the 3 Machine Guns rip the testicles out of everything. Very fun build!

    My mod on the OP build, I feel that the MG are a last resort weapon, and should only warrant 2 tons of ammo. I added A+ and BAP to make the missiles easier to lock and a bit more accurate. I did reduce the engine slightly and had to remove 1 DHS, but you still have a very high cooling for a LRM boat with 2 LL.

    I must agree with you, and you are right. I just thought that I need more ammo for 12vs12. You build is better, thank you! :)

    I've never been a fan of the LRM Victor, but you have a solid take on it. I'd suggest dropping some of the Jump Jets to up grade the LRM10 to a LRM15. You're firing in waves anyways, you might as well add five more missiles.

    That would add another LRM5 wave which would get completely nullified by a single AMS. Better would be an LRM20 and LRM10 (assuming that the Mechlab puts them in the right slots). That way you should fire 2 15s.

    EDIT: Nope, nevermind. If you put in a 20 and 5 the 20 goes in the 10 slot and 5 in the 5 slot, but if you put in a 20 and a 10, the 10 goes into the 10 slot and the 20 into the 5 slot, because fuck you. The 10+15 also doesn't work, but 20+15 'works' (goes into proper slots), but no XL then.
