I've been trying to find a Timberwolf build that I could really enjoy. I know allot of people aren't a fan of LRMs but I like having a few to reach out and touch someone but don't like being tied down as an LRM boat.

I've played with this a while and I've been doing really well in random matches. Weapon groups are as follows:
wpn grp 1: 4x cSPL
wpn grp 2: 2x cMPL
wpn grp 3: 2x LRM15

The TC1 is nice since it is running 6 lasers. cAP is a personal choice since I love how it cancels ECM now. I had used 7 tons of ammo but dropped the last ton to add the TC1 and I've been doing fine.

 

you may as well go all Medium Lasers. mixing up the weapons like that don't really help

 

I've been trying it with all ER med lasers. I was afraid the heat would be two much but its controllable.



I group 4 med lasers in the arms and 2 in the torso. I've been having pretty good success with this build. I don't play it as an LRM boat though. I take pot shots with LRMs as I move up and try to support the group.
