Updated with extra half ton of ammo.

    Original build

I've been using lots of fun builds over the last few weeks testing out the Twolf. UAC20, 4xSRM 4, 2ml facefister is great at CQC. The 3LL 4ml LaserWolf was a blast and incredibly effective effective at range. I wanted something that could do quite well at all ranges and came up with this.

I built this by removing the Ghost heat inducing 3rd LL and associated DHS from the laserwolf and slapping on some SRMs to boost alpha strikes when things get close. The lack of DOT on the SRMs is really helpful in urban environments. SRMs are really picking internals apart these days. 1 JJ is all you need for basic maneuvering and preventing fall damage. This is a happy mech in the current state of the game. Radar deprivation is a handy module.

These 5 matches were in the last two days. As of right now I've had over 700 damage 8 matches in a row with 3 1000+ matches all puggin.

I dropped 2 DHS and a half ton of armor to upgrade to SRM6s and add a ton of ammo. Close quarters alpha are even more devastating.

    Pretty good results:

    My take:

    -armor
    -tc1
    +dhs
    +ammo

arm actuators + more armor can be put instead of a DHS

Good thoughts Schnaetz, although Targeting Computers are incredibly powerful for their weight. The SRM6 build runs a bit too hot. There is a quirk in the game where if 1 arm has actuators, the other doesn't need them to function. With that in mind, I went back to my original build and dropped a half ton of armor and 1 arm actuator in exchange for an extra half ton of ammo. First match with this build was 7 kills, 1104 damage. I think this reaches my happy place for the TWolf.

Yeah I think that's a good compromise :D Although I would switch one pack of ammo with the TC1 from the arm to a side torso (critpadding).
