Fun build, I have tried a bunch of other gauss rifle combinations on the Timber Wolf but I have found that laser's compliment the gauss rifle better than cERPPC's. I think it's mostly because of the pinpoint damage you can do with laser's, especially if your good at damaging one spot. The targeting computer MK VI help alot with cERML's range and crit chance making it a very effective weapon with a gauss rifle. Make sure you have the Lower arm actuator ticked on the left arm. I seem to be getting good kills and damage with this build so I think I will keep it as my TBR-C variant and share it with you guys. Weapon Groups: 1 - 2 cERML's (Left arm) 2 - Gauss Rifle (Right arm) 3 - 3 cERML's (Torso) 4 - 5 cERML's (Chain Fire) Some Strategy: I like to peek my right arm out around corners and nip people with my gauss rifle and use my torso ErML's as I am backing up to blind them from any return fire. TC1, JJ, 21 HS Variant: By dropping a heat sink, lowering the targeting computer, or removing it you can get a max armor version or even a jump jet version. In game name: Skylen [size=18pt]Here is some other variants that can be done with the Gauss Rifle in the Right Torso6 ER Medium Lasers, 17 Heatsinks, & TC6 Variant: (remove lasers or lower the targeting computer level for more ammo/DHS as you please) 7 ER Medium Lasers, 21 Heatsinks, & TC1 Variant: (remove lasers/DHS for more ammo as you please)
Yeah, times change and indeed, since the PCC/cERLL-nerf everything works good with cERML. I'm just waiting for the next nerf. I build it like this:
And I build mine like this: It's excellent fun, even when you die! Though I was the only pilot on my side to break 400 damage... =P
I'd use 1/2 ton-Ammo for critpadding: You could also go full prime variant (if you want the quirks and no JJ):

Put it into the RA instead.
Probably not, 6 cERML is already hot, 7 would trigger ghost heat... 4-5 seems to be best. 6 is pushing it. I would consider 6 cERML, a TC1, and a JJ in this case
