Some of you requested that I make some banners in order to help spread the word for MechSpecs.com and I greatly appreciate the offer of your banner space, even if just for a little while. This will greatly help increase the visibility of the site; which in turn helps you guys because more builds are posted, more builds are commented on etc. I will use this thread to post any new ones that come along but I've got some for you to start with. HOW TO POST THESE AS A SIGNATURE FILE - Click VIEW IMAGE and copy the URL (you can hotlink it or save it yourself) - Click EDIT PROFILE (either here or on the MWO forums) - Click EDIT SIGNATURE (or whatever it is called) - Click the CENTER icon to center the paragraph - Click the INSERT IMAGE icon and paste the URL you copied - Click the image that is now displayed once to highlight it - Click the LINK icon and then enter a link to http://mechspecs.com - Click SAVE CHANGES (or whatever the equivalent is) DONE Thank you for helping spread the word! Suggestion: A smaller/narrower banner one can add to their extisting sig, where there is limited space/size constrictions. Not trying to make more work for you, but will offer greater chances of utilization.
I had thought of this; unfortunately there simply isn't enough real estate to put this beside a clan banner such as yours. You might be able to fit something along the lines of the "SUPPORT" button (located on the left) and I could do something up like that but that is about it.
Didn't mean beside, but rather under one's existing sig, that one can carry with them to other forums they may participate in. It would just offer another avenue to get advertising to this site out there. Also, what is your official email addy to the site, if we want to use it as a banner on our sites?
As an alternative to the full banner, what about just the symbol for the site (which is pretty cool btw)? Some people might not be able to fit both but others would. It's never too early to build brand awareness. I'd say a good number of people can just look at the 'mech with the cross-airs over it and know already. Others will too... eventually.
I don't currently have a sig (anywhere), but I'm in the process of (re)forming a merc corp, and could totally go with the 'blue stamp' to add to whatever sig we eventually go with :wink: Edit: wow...it worked lol
This program is helping out nicely and I'm grateful for the banner space some of you have thrown up on MWOMERCS.COM. Doing so has really increased our visibility. In the few days since we've started it we have received 40+ active registrations with people who are contributing not to mention learning and using what they find here! Wednesday we almost broke 1000 visitors with 923. Thursday was down to 750ish but I imagine that was due to frustration with MWO's website being down for a few hours. Lets see if we can break 1000 within a week or so. Great job guys! Keep spreading the word!

With the new forums up at MWOMERCS now is the time to push for a little advertising. We are also putting a proposal together to present to IGP in the hopes of aquiring official endorsement. If you have the space, we would greatly appreciate you flying the banner colors over there; even if just for a couple of weeks to help spread the word and show that the community does utilize this resource.
Ha...Ill try to point people here when I can (already got most of my friends who play MWO here and once I get my Clan/gaggle of idiots in atlase together ill be sure to have them all using Mechspecs as well .
Just a friendly bump. The more people you can get coming here the more active this little community can become. Sure, there are other sites but they all blah blah blah and bitch about this and that and "why isn't this happening" and "I want that" blah blah blah. Get them to come here where folks are more serious about getting to the point! Just sayin!
