I would love an AS7-D-DC stripped of missile slots and given an energy slot in the RT and CT. Or perhaps one with more missile tubes... perhaps with 2X LRM 15s (LT) and an LRM 20 (RT) (with missile tubes to match) (Replacing one of the ballistic hard points in the RT) Every Atlas is a jack of all trades when it comes to weapon types... It would be nice to see some focus in a Hero Mech, they would at least be different,
eww...i wasnt a fan of the laser boat hunchback and surely wont be a fan of a laser boat victor. Even then, with the heat issues these days...he just wouldnt be that useable.
I'm not sure bout the hero Flea/Shadow Hawk/.... all the phoenix. Founder mechs don't have hero variants, maybe it will be the same for the phoenix. In fact I hope they will use these 6 months without new hero to give old and forgotten mechs their hero variant: Spider, Trebuchet, Blackjack (do want!), Quickdraw and Raven.
Round 2 for me - my wishes for some of the lighter Mechs:

Locust "Dragonfly" [2x Missile (LA+RA), 3x Energy (CT+LT+RT), 2x JJ, AMS, Engine max 200]
Raven "Golden Eagle" [3x Missile (CT+LT+RT), 2x Energy (LA+RA), 5x JJ, AMS, Engine max 300]
Blackjack "The Pest" [4x Energy (LA+RA), 3x Missile (Head+LT+RT), AMS, ECM, Engine max 300]
So we'll be getting a Catapult Hero soon. Sarna.net only tells about a heroic-like variant of the C1, but the picture on the mothership tells us it'll be similar to the K2. So another hero made up by PGI. Love the pic. This thing would be awesome. And yes, ECM would make this OP as hell.
Lamers might want an overpowered mech. But the game surely does not need it. I'm expecting the hero jenner very much since it's my favourite mech, but I really don't want to be a p2w variant.
Well, we don't have a "ballistic" Jenner. Imagine an ECM.Variant but with multiple Ballistics and only a CT-Energy Point. Think this would not be really OP.
Yeah, I'd like a Hero Jenner, but it'd be our luck that it'd based on the Jenner Samuli Probably end up with 4E Hardpoints, Possibly 1 or 2 M Hardpoints... though I doubt they'd use it as it'd have a max engine rating of 345, which would make *it* the fastest light mech in the game. So scratch that, I'd love to have this Jenner chassis... even if the Missile Harpoint *was* in the arm like the canon version... I suspect December will be a Hero Hunchback and then January a Hero Jenner. But that's my theory - only based on the fact that we got an Atlas last, then a Catapult, and the Hunchie is the next Founder's 'Mech in descending weight class.
Indeed. But a balistic jenner doesn't feel like a jenner... I like Azakael suggestion better. New Hunchy for Christmas
I don't like p2w either but jenners really need a ECM variant. And if it is like a ECM jenner of 4 energy 1 ballisric, or 3 energy 2 ballistic then it is quite fubctional without being OP. That and jenner is not at the fastest level anymore.
Yeah, forget my idea. Was just a thought of something "different" against the available Variants/Hardpoints. I hate Ballistic Slots on Lights too! Maybe a Triplet of Missile Bays would be awesome for Streaks and Torso.Energy.Hardpoints.
I'm with you on this. Iirc the heavier ECM capable mech, except for the Atlas, is the 40t cicada! A medium/heavy ECM carrier would be a nice addition. I don't think it should be a hero mech though.
