Suggest a build for the next MechSpecs Combat Testing video

As promised, now that we have the Light Mech Combat Guide completed we have now cleared most of our "To Do" list (we are still working on converting all the old build sheets to the new Smurfy system). As such we now have an open plate to work on new video projects.

What's next? Throw down a build here that you would like to see featured in the next video. After a week or so we will then put up a poll and registered members can vote on which mech they would like to see featured in our next Combat Testing video.

Once a build has been picked, one of the MechSpecs team members will begin assembling the build and training up the skill tree. The build author will be contacted and the reasoning behind specific components will be discussed and featured in the video.

Doesn't matter whether it's a light, medium, heavy or assault!

You can easily average 300 ~ 600 points of damage a match - my average with it has been between 450 ~ 550 / match with usually 2 kills.

I sub out a heat sink for another ton of ammo as the dual SRM 6s have become my primary weapon with this build.

 

Interesting idea. I don't have an X5 (and won't be spending the MC for one) so if this one wins the vote next week then I'll have to find a competent pilot who can also do video work with one.

 

I would love to see my "Blitzkrieg" tested by a good pilot, as a hit-and-run assault it demands a specific play style.

(this exact build works even better with the Pretty Baby because of missile tubes, but in this version there´s no MC involved)

It'd be nice to see one of the new JagerMechs, perhaps comparing them to K2 or Cataphract builds? The dual Gauss build looks promising.

Mkay, this post will stay open until Friday at 1800 Eastern then I'll make a poll and we'll go with the best one. I'll take up to 10 builds out of here and throw them on the poll (assuming there are 10 suggestions).

Also, you can suggest ANY MECH YOU WANT and I can do it

 

Last couple of days to get these suggestions in then the poll goes up so I can start work on a good one!

 

it might be a little bit selfish, but i'd like somone else to figure out my own build, and see if they have any ideas on how i can get a better playstyle myself..

I am glad that people like that particular build of my Spider; but should a Spider win the draw, I think this one is much more fun.
