Hiya all! I tried to make a few videos but I had music on during the matches, and ShadowPlay recorded that. Since that stuff is copyrighted I can't send it to Michael for a build showcase, so you guys can enjoy it here. Link to my MWO playlist Most Recent video: Do NOT expect regular videos here, I will not upload that frequently.
Great call on the Ayreon! Nice round, I honestly expected more damage after watching you down 5 mechs! Guess you're killing too fast!
I'm kinda happy you started this series in one of my builds... Just keep going like that, and I won't need to make any more videos!
I actually started in the HBK-4P Grimm Variant optimized with an XL275 And you probably should keep making videos, It's not called 'Irregular Adventures' without reason!
Uploaded a new video from my mission yesterday. Bond girls sadly not included, unless you count Blagg Zear Also got a video in a LRM boat:
featuring SubjectSeven, the draconian, JungleTTRL, tr0unce & Co. play both videos from Sub and me to have a simultaneous view of the same match from two totally different positions (apologies for strange aspect ratio/low framerate - oldie machine @1650x1080 ) [hr] here is Sub's recording:
I've gotten used to the heat and the elite efficiencies (and snow maps are nice to me D) There will be a Build test out soon where I play it on Tourmaline and keep the heat in check Exact build: https://www.mechspecs.com/forum/index.php?topic=2462.msg21721#msg21721 Regarding that upcoming video: Do you people find the current font I'm using easy enough to read or should I change it up a bit?
Made a new video with my olde HBK-4G(F) that I never use except for this match (and it went better than expected :O) I've slightly increased the readability of my comments with Bold and increasing the outline width a bit, and I think it's even better now Still the same font though.
Holy crap, someone else actually uses my version of the 4P! It isn't an optimal loadout in terms of heat efficiency by any means, but it is a lot of fun to play. And you can actually get some really good games if you stick with your assaults and skirmish well. I have to ask, do you actually like the Hotback-4P, or it just a fun novelty?
The Hotback-4P is my go-to mech if I need some fun and some kills one of my favourite mech loadouts even if I forget to buy coolshot always. Used this build to master XP and beyond (was a bit worse without elites pilot tree but still capable of like 350 damage back then in canyon network)
Hahaha that's awesome. I still run it all the time when I have the chance to play. It definitely teaches you the heat scale quickly. I only attempted that build after I mastered the chassis, it would have really been tough trying to do it without the 2X bonus.
Editing some new videos from my exhausting why-am-I-not-sleeping-this-game-is-addictive 9-hour MWO session yesterday
