Solo Challenge: Brokeback Pug: Why can't I quit you?

So I had time for a quick game or two this morning...

I know I wasn't double anyone's damage but I'm a Locust and my score was twice as much as anyone on my team almost and higher than anyone but the Crab on enemy team barely. The 4 kills I did, 3 I got Solo Kill bonus for... Including a Huggin and Firestarter fighting me at once. (Thank you 169 kph!)

I got sloppy at the end and kept peeking the cored Dire Wolf from the same pillar at mid over and over not realizing my last teamate was dead so they were all staring at my hiding spot. If I had JUST run off and repositioned I could have cleaned up the Catapault, Centurion and or Dire Wolf... Blah.

Ended up with a 2 vs. 3 shootout at their base as time ticked down. Me and the Hunchie vs Atlas, Hellbringer and Cataphract.

 

Sigh...wouldn't be a night of play without one of these, right?





Lost a lot of teammates chasing the two Locust squirrels, which was bad enough, but then I lost my RT and a lot of heat sinks. Could barely fire after that, but still got another kill just chain firing 1-2 MPLs at a time. Knew we were done for, so I used my last teammate as bait and backshot a bunch of them, but couldn't finish them off.

In my GARGOYLE no less! With no basics except for the heat ones unlocked too

 

So this happened today. I managed to solo kill that Warhawk and most of the Locust, while coring out the Dire Wolf's ass to deep cherry red until the Kintaro stole the kill. Not before shooting me in the butt in the process, mind you.

No idea what the rest of the team did in the meantime, probably getting their asses shot off by the Jester.

 

This challenge is currently difficult for me. Have loads of almost valid pictures,... There is always this "one other" that is on par with me,...

Screw it, post some anyway! We've all had some that didn't quite qualify. It's stress relief either way!

 

i seem to have no problem whit meeting the goal -.- i havent even got all basic skills on this mech yet.
i am a above avrage player (k/d 1.31 and victory/defeat 1.17) but by no means a "pro" (ore even close to that i also never use arty ore UAV's cos i am always in need of C bills cos i only play for +/- 4 months ) but i heard the mm was based on ELO and if u look at the scores its clear the players in a pug match are seldom of the same skill level...

can someone explain to me how the MM works and if i have a ELO how i find out wat it is?

That post raises the philosophical question of whether spelling matters, and whether knowing the difference between "begging the question" and "raising the question" is relevant in this day and age.

The answer is "not really, as long as it's comprehensible".

 

Or whether everyone has a native language that is English and thus has perfect grammar and spelling.

Terra Therma. I mean, where else is it this easy to have a team fuck up royally? The worst part is I was chasing enemies out of the middle with my ACs in a panic for a good minute, and they WOULD NOT engage. Eventually they got brave and overran me.



And the immediate next match...at least this one had one other guy trying. Same thing though...the team ran to the Theta point, full of fire...and then slowly backed away while under fire, leaving those of us who were fighting completely alone. 7 people under 100, 10 under 200. Fucks sake...

 

i know my spelling is horible and english is indead not my native language i also have dislextia, but i try to use google translate to make it more readable... sr for my crimes vs the grammer nazi in the readers

In the future, I'll contain any corrections to PMs as I normally would. No idea what I was thinking.

Someone should create a version of Scrabble which uses five dice to form poker-like hands to determine bonuses, instead of double/triple word score and the like. I shall call it Grammar Yahtzee.

 

dude dont worry i constantly make spelling mistakes due to my dyslexia and am reminded of it by others, after a time you really learn to not let it bother you, and thers no way you can know so dont feel bad. tnx for being conciderate do
