Hello, I would like to share this simple but effective Summoner-D build.
It's all about lasers, so you need to carefully manage heat, but if you are familiar with
builds like this such as the one for the Hunchback-P that should not be a problem.

Pros: very long range, easy weapon groups, solid alpha, standard omnipods.
Cons: heat penality, realtively easy overheat, no torso weapons, armor 422/434.

You shoot faster if you only have 3x cERLL.
Special SMN bonus for having 3 energy weapons.
The DPS is higher than shown, but that means you need some exxtra DHS.

I'm not sure a 10% lower recharge time is worth giving up 11 dmg by making the Right Arm Prime.

Sadly, besides the 2erppc build, this is probably the best a summoner can do. I'd still definitely drop one DHS for a TC1 at the very least.

Another option is to put in 2MG, but you're probably doing it wrong if you're ever close enough to use them.

This build is a lot of fun even though it generates heat like crazy. The extra HS helps some but once the heat gets up there it's best to back off for a sec. Luckily it cools down quickly and I have not yet had a round in it below 360 damage. Average for this build is in the 550-650 damage range. I use two weapon groups, one for each arm and it is a definite buster on the battlefield. This is my first post and first time using Smurfy so I hope I did this right. :D

Aw crap. I guess I missed it but this build has already been posted and I can't delete it. My apologies to the other poster for the copy. Guess I'm not that original. XD

    With enileph 's suggestion:

Higher sustained DPS and you get the freedom to remove some heat sinks for a targeting computer.

At any rate, Summoner arms are so low-hung that I don't think they're suited for long-range engagements at all.
