Mid/Long Range Support. Meant to skim the edges of the battlefield, finding new spots to poke away at. Fire those LRMs while moving in, hiding in cover or adding to the boats on your team. Does lack its own TAG or BAP, so you gotta be smarter in its use. Definitely not for perpetual hailing on any target you can lock onto. PPCs are the real meat of the mech. Its fast enough with its JJs to find good spots and to displace when things get rough. As long as you aren't being run down by Jenners far away from friends, its generally fine. Also with ECM being quite commonplace, being able to hose down Atlas DDCs is a nice bonus. Keep their ECMs off by volley fire, and start chucking your LRMs in to exploit the opening. I am considering dropping a PPC for a TAG and loading up on another LRM5, perhaps replacing the torso 5s with 10s and more ammo. Or a BAP. But so far I like having PPCs on both arms, which allows me to shoot round the sides of cover more flexibly. edit: I am an idiot. Updated thread title.
