Simple and Deadly. Try yours today! EDIT I am currently using the 5M with AC20, 5JJ and 4 tons of ammo. I've found a different loadout for this variant that I will be posting up.
5/5 for executing it's design.... if you dropped case & 1 JJ, then you could add another ton of ammo... maybe shuffle it around to the head, CT, and/or legs... cause losing all your AC20 ammo makes it useless with only 1 ML left anyways...
Great design, although it lacks ammo. I dropped some armor, case, and 1 JJ to add 2 tons of ammo. Here is my take on it:
28 bullets is minimum for 12v12 battles. 35 is perfect. But such a waste not to use the CT.Weaponhardpoint for Zombie.Mode. I would replace the AC20 by LBX+SRM6(CT). Almost same deadliness.
Liked the idea of the BJ-1 build thats recently become popular, but didn't want to splash out on a Blackjack, so made this. There seems to be quite a lot of benefits of using the SH over the BJ, including a Standard Engine while still matching the speed of a BJ w XL But if you do wish to go for the XL: Can go a bit faster, and even has a little more damage overall - Only downside is the heat efficiency drops to 40%, which is still quite reasonable - Can always replace the SSRMs and BAP for a 300 engine some SRM6's if you'd prefer What do you think guys?
I dunno, I tried to keep the strengths of the No. 40 which were speedy "get in there, ac20, gtfo" - I went for the standard engine since you can't fit an AC20 and an XL, ignoring the fact that it allows you to potentially go zombie. To keep it speedy hit and run style of the No. 40, I think going pure zombie wouldn't work too good, especially with the hit reg of SRM's in general recently
I tried the AC/20 on the SHD, but I went back to the Blackjack despite the 10 more tons. Nothing like its arm mobility when you poptart.
Merged the "No 40" and the "ShadowShot" by Vergere since they are essentially the same build with an engine tweek.
I've been running this for a few days now, though I downgraded to a STD260 to add in more ammo, and it is seriously the funnest build I've used in a medium chassis. Even with 28 rounds of ammo, though, I find myself consistently running out, so I've decided to drop a JJ to add in one more ton of ammo to see me though the match. It is just surprising how much damage these guys can soak up before finally going down.
