The key to this mech is range, stay at 300 or more and control the fight. Poke with the ERLLAS and make them fight in the shade of your missiles. I play this at part of a medium or light pack, they run in, lock the target and you can begin the chainfire. Pouring in 5 missiles every second is a lot of disorienting cockpit shake. If they have AMS, sure, pop all four at once and launch 20 missiles every 3,25 seconds instead of the 4,75 you'd get with the LRM20 launcher. Roles: Support, energy sniper, harasser. Recomended Modules:Advanced sensors, Target decay Pug or Premade: Preferably in a Premade, pugging with this will risk leaving you in the wind as the mech is not strong up close. It needs the range. Weapongroups 1, ERLLAS 2, All LRM5's chainfired 5, TAG (using the macro software in the guide section on this forum) 6, All LRM5's together at once The really scary part is that you can pursuit many mechs with the 88,4 (97,2 speed tweak) kph and harass them continually. Use the jumpjets to fire above obstacles or find good points to fire from. Here's just one screenshot of the damage I have achieved. It is not unusual to hit 400-600, since you have 8 tons of ammo you have about 1500 in damage potential for that alone.
I will have to give this a try - I'm running something similar, but with gauss shoved instead we of the ERLL. Your version has better staying power and AMS/BAP/etc
I got bored the other day and decided to try four LRM5's for fun and was quite surprised to deal over 600 damage on the first match. Now a friend and I run your build and absolutely tear mechs up (great setup for conquest). Five out of five stars!
