    I didn't feel the need for the XL300, you shouldn't be trying to get close where you need the speed anyway with this build. Dropped it for XL275 and added BAP. BAP decreases missile lock time doesn't it?

    Edit: Dang, someone posted before I caught my mistake... I also forgot JJ on that last build. I'm going to try this one and other variants. I had a ton of ammo left over in that last round, and I fired quite a lot.

    No, BAP only increases sensor range and counters one ECM that's trying to jam you. It has no effect on lock time -- only Artemis IV, TAG, and NARC affect time to lock.

    That is incorrect. Even checked smurfy, and both MWO and they agree, 25% increased targeting range, 25% increased target gathering info, and 120m targeting of shutdown mechs.

    But does "Target Gathering Info" mean paper-doll mech loadout/health info or lock acquisition time? Has anyone done any play-testing to verify?

    Decreases the amount of time acquired for detailed target information by 25%.
    Quoted straight from the Pilot Tree menu. At this moment there are no modules that decreases missile lock time.
