Nooooooooooooooo - I've been on vacation for the last days - no MWO - and now THIS! *sob*
Wanted to wreck some mechs now that I'm at home.... :whacko:

 

The Website says that the servers are offline and wont let you login to the forums.
But when i start the gameclient I can login and play (not using the public test client) any idea what is currently running?

 

When exactly did the downtime start?

at 1710 UTC, it was still running, but I had to leave (see my last post ).

 

They just now gave us a 1 minute warning then took the servers down. only 20 hours later than expected

 

AARGH! One lost night of my life!!!

 

Indeed! You can login and get into the MechLab. I also tried to start a match, but failed in an extremely long connection time (>5 Min.). I guess the Playerbase on the Live Version is too tiny atm, because most guys don't know that the Server is active. I wonder, what this means. PGI is doing very strange things lately.

 

Something a bit weird is definitely going on, the website says it's in Maintenance, it allows you to log in and look at most pages - but the forums bring you to a 404 error page.

Wondering if this is why PGI didn't plan an Event for this weekend.

 

Hey pal.

Since yesterday, all of their web and game servers are likely on the new datacentre. Which unsuprisingly is glitchy it seems. SOP for PGI by now.

I'll be on late today, landed a bad cold and was feeling poorly last night. Saw you drop on but I couldn't speak worth a damn with this throat, at work now and trying to get through a workday. :/

 

I played a few matches earlier today, waiting time was longer than normal but thats not such a surprise as the client+homepage said that the servers where down. Test server is up and running for those who gets to desperate

Well those 24 hours should be up in 20 minutes if im correct on the timezones.

 

Ummh it came down about 2 hrs originally after it was supposed to as we played right till then and had some hilarious brawls as people had no idea when it would come down. That was just after 8pm UK summer time so 7pm GMT. managed to finish a brilliant 7 kill match in my adder, went back to mech bay and was celebrating on comms... boom....

Had an evening catching up on Suits.

 

Well seems like game server is up again, still marked as Maintenance/Offline but im able to login. There forum is still 404 not found thou.

 

You know, clicking the banners here on MechSpecs might make the servers load faster...

Seriously, did I just end patching the PTS the moment it went down?!

 

Well servers are still up and I have about 10-20 ms better ping now than what i remember from earlier, if thats from the latest patch, actual progress in there work or other i dont really know. Forum is still down and no update to the news on there site.

Even if we can actually play now, there site still says its down and we cant be sure our progress is saved. A small update could have been nice of them, like we are currently experiencing problems and working on it (or We took a early weekend, service might be back sometime in the future on our more cost effective data-center solution).

EDIT: Haha just as I posted the status on there website changed to Online, forum is still 404.
