Actually surprised that this hasn't been posted yet. Basically, an upsized super HBK-4SP that gains the benefits from all the Clantech.

Honestly though I haven't found that much success in this build but it may just have been a run of bad games.

A new variant of Knockout which I just put together which trades a couple lasers for an SRM6. So far I'm liking this build more than the original but it plays to the same strengths and weaknesses.

I swap out the head omnipod with one without a penalty and replace one ton of ammo with a targeting computer.

This build is absolutely deadly. The hit box makes it very survivable, the hard point placements give it good reach, the speed makes it a good peek and shoot, the agility and twist range/speed makes it hard to hit while being able to hit back when brawling ... it will tear up lights and heavies without prejudice.

Perhaps I have been lucky my first couple matches ... perhaps not.

Oooooh! A Clan replacement for my SHD-2K! Will be running this as such:

If the TC1 proves to be not very useful, I'll exchange it for a 17th DHS.

This is a terrific build and one of the best you can get on Stormcrow and gets an unprestigious (but that's not the build's fault) "Briz's seal of aproval".

I like to have lasers and SRMs on different sides, and a much cooler mech, on a brawler cooling eff. >then 40% really makes a difference...just wish I could swap sides, I'm used to have SRMs on the right thanks to the SHD 2K.

The positive side is I tend to shield more with right on no JJs mechs, so this preserves the SRMs more

    I run mine with a 5th ERML.

Heat is easy, at distance I play like the LPL/ERML Stormcrow with my 5 ERML's with 35 Alpha and good CE. When moving close to brawl I switch to the torso weapons with really good CE.

This build is absolutely deadly. I drive mine with 5 C-ERML,... but I'm just weird ;-)

I cut one laser, like fx8230, but to keep convergence at its best I kept the missile torsos. One laser in the head and two in the left arm allows me to lose the right arm with very little penalty. I initially had nothing but heatsinks in there, but I think having two lower arm actuators is better than having one arm and one hand (? Please correct me if this is not correct, and I will revert to heatsinks only). Also because those hands scare me.

Great for brawling, and the lasers keep me in the fight before the brawl happens. The only problem is that with 19 DHS there is a small ammo issue. I have run out once or twice, but at the end of the game each time. If you find yourself running out, swap a DHS for a ton of ammo. Cooling capacity is already great, so it's no great loss.
