[size=36pt]!WARNING!This is only for Brawl-Fanatics like me. If you don't like risking your life and maybe getting a high reward for this, this is NOT the build you are looking for. http://mwo.smurfy- net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=c4edcc0f343ad3f76924f755a9ac0dc073ab0381 BTW: The german word "DOSENÖFFNER" sounds way more aggressive when you shout it and it means the same as "can opener".
Doesnt really look like a Can-Opener rather a Critseeker (in german .. the "Krit Sucker"? ). Therefor you need some other weapons (e.g. SRMs) to open the can = cracking the Armor. LBX cant do this very well. How about this: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=ef7365b0e28c21fc2765d2656253a71fe2cf65d2 A little bit more Range Power and can burn off Armor faster.
exchange one lbx with an ac 10 and to not just paint the enemies borders in your target info yellow & orange, tried dual lbx with my CTF-3D and had to adapt.
was playing around with MrPuzzleTheOwl, and we came up with this: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=4392fce71c0d968d004be078f91d86f8b015c94d less cool eff + sustained dps , more range + max dmg
Going to try this build soon. Basically just a heavier version of my dual LB10X Jager which usually does very well (my best performing build to date). PPC packs more of a punch to get through specific armor locations. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=ad8f2d35691944865edf650019653636efd74497
My take on this idea. I agree with other people, this isn't a can opener, its a crit seeker. With the MLs and SSRM2s, there is some nice synergy. You can track with ML's on the arms and the SSRMs will follow, you can't get that will basic SRMs. Pretty sweet 18 pts of tracking damage. I've run a build like this on the jager (2xLBX AC10's, 4xML) which beats this build by 2 pts. It works very well. But its dependent on an XL engine, this Orion build does not. I dig that. But you have to bide your time until the mid-to-late game and then this mech really shines. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=36373e8f6cdab2a74cae00a83d2331c52b6d3088
I like that build a lot for the ON1-V variant because you can put the SSRM 2s in the arms. Run it exactly like that.
Yeah you can do that, but the nice thing about SSRMs is it don't matter where you mount them if you got lock, you're going to hit.
