Would love to know, what Benchmark Results you get for MWO in UHD. Any Video Captures done?

I haven't even installed MWO on this PC yet. Look at it this way, my 780 Ti barely broke a sweat in MWO at 1080p. I would imagine twin 980 Ti, even in 1440, would crush it without blinking. MWO is 3 years old now. I'll see about getting it loaded on though just to test it out for you. No video caps done yet although I have been in Star Citizen and gotten close to 100fps in the hanger in 1440 on VERY HIGH.

 

I think 1440p is not interesting for Benchmarking, but in 4K downscaled with Nvidias DSR to check the Systems Limit

 

I'll look in to it. I've got to figure out a way to reduce the db level of the fans on the AIO right now. They are humming along at 2300rpm and are quite loud. Sure the machine idles at 30c but I tend to want to be able to record with my mic without picking up ANY background noise.

 

I have a GTX970@4K and play a lot. Personally I play at 1440p maxed out because I get around 30fps at 4K and need a bit more.

There is a big catch though, and it's the fact that MWO is mainly CPU limited. Both become unplayable with Particles at max on a stock 3930K.

 

Today I learned to overclock LOL

4.4ghz at 1.27v stable but my GPUs are still running stock.

Going to do a review on the PC eventually on my non MWO/SC related YouTube channel within the next week or so I think now that the benchmarks are done.

When I built my new pc recently I used an old tower. The tower fan is a bit loose. My solution? When it starts makin a grindy sound, I just pop the side open, reach down, and jam my thumb into it. Usually works.

LOL I'm looking at giving my son one of my 980 Ti and getting a 1080 Ti when they come out. I can offset the cost by selling my remaining 980 Ti.
