I had a game with 6 kills, 5 assist and 10xx damage and we lost for cap....but the last mech was a Firebrand and I couldn't find it ! :sleep: It didn't improve my score so I'm not playing anymore in the tournie. Now, congrats to Proton 2,638 for Marik...my avg score of the best 10 for this is 1000 damage 3-4 kills and almost all assist + win, can't imagine how good he did hear: And thanks to my LRM35 Stalker, quad ac Jager and laserboat Stalker who got me the best scores(yeah no pop tarters, I don't have any assault/heavy that can)
I opted in, then ended up being busy most of the weekend with RL stuff! Only ever got in 4 or 5 matches last night, all of which were losses, sadly. (I wasn't even bothering with the tourney, was just trying to grind XP). Oh well, next time . . .

Ran it all on my new found love of the Aylek-inspired SHD-2D2. Stopped to keep the pretty round number on my mech history: I saw Proton at Alpine in a DDC (with AC20, SRM+A 18, 2xMLas). He was at ~2300 at the time and promptly quit the match when his team's win was secured and he knew it wouldn't best his current score (he was only at something like 4 kills, 730 damage at match end). I also grinded out a Raven 4X on the freemium time they gave us. All in all, I had a fun MWO long weekend!
Nice, do you have any videos of that mech ? For me, as soon as I use streaks under max speed of the oxide I can't break 800 (usually, ofc I can on a lucky stomp but I mean on regular basis like you did, or on the stalker but that has million lasers) I'm going to buy some mechbays to master the stalker anyway (yeah I played the tournie with a basic 5M ) and I have already 3 SHD mastered but can't convince myself to get the 2D2 too only for streaks.
I end with only 1559 score, 199 of Kurita faction, perhaps I should have not train my new Cata-3D during this tournament @e92 : how do you manage to get that table?

The weirdest thing is that even if tried to opt-in after the limit date my tourney page says "you're opt-in, welcome, free Hula Girl for you, and buritos" but still didn't tracked my games and calculate my score (and no Hula-Girl, which is the only thing I was interrested in )
I opted in, then completely forgot about it. I remembered Saturday night while my unit was doing a MCW drop. Couldn't play Sunday do to work and holiday things. So I said screw it and got my 10 matches in while double dipping and getting my 5 wins on my trials for my achievement. Much to my surprise it only took me 6 games to get the 5 wins. I then just randomly grabbed mechs to get the last few games for my free cockpit item. I ended up 722 with 1159 points in Steiner.
on a side note I should have used consumables, probably I would have made it in the MC zone, I finished 6th ! good thing is I played only monday and still had free premium time, so I earned about 7 million cbills, yay !
I score-keep by hand at the end of every game. I've been toying with the idea of writing a program to tabulate automatically off of the profile statistics. It would also give more detailed stats and show exactly how much damage you did with which weapons at what accuracy and such. Stats like match score and how many mechs killed per side would still have to be manual though, unless I can find the values in the memory table somewhere. If I went that deep, I'd probably grab things like cause of death also. When I'm not busy and more inspired maybe... [/quote] Congrats on 6th! That's quite an accomplishment! If I had to guess, I used probably about combined 12 consumables in the 10 games in that table. Strangely the 1165-4-8 game that should have scored in the Proton-stratosphere was consumable free. 74th in FRR with a balmy 1,798 points. I'm happy with it even though FRR's one of the worst factions EDIT: On the plus side, my K jumped like .1 this weekend since I was dropping in just my Firebrand to take maximum advantage of free premium time.
Like most of the regulars, I opt-in, but didn't have time to give it a serious go. I got maybe... 15-20 drops in over the weekend which put me into 12th and 2045 after my last drop on Saturday. Dropped to 29th place by the end of it all. Too much RL stuff came up being a Holiday weekend and all. Congrats to any Mechspecs people that made it in the top 10
Yea, I was similar. I got in 10 games, and spent the rest of the weekend with the future in laws :/ Probably would have preferred some MWO, but duty calls! I think I wound up as 345th in Kurita? 1346 points I believe. I was pretty much the assist king in all 10 games. Pretty reguarly 2 kills and at least 8 assists per game, including a few close losses and one horrible game on Terra Therma where we got base capped, and no one listened to my warning/came to help defend (Yay PUG). Congrats those who can be proud of their scores! I'd like to think there were at least 346 Kurita players!
I only just got mine with the update 2 hrs ago. To sum up my tournament... fucking awful. Wanted to not go meta and it cost me badly. Example of my match types: Check the prevailing mechs early on. Day 1 I tried hard but just kept getting 3 kills moderate assists and moderate damage as was trying to go with precision. Kept ending up in hot battlefields that really hurt my build. Was #7 for quite a while then dropped down to 13th by the end of day 1. Day 2 was major frustration. Started picking up more kills but damage still moderate. Took a break for a few hours to drop with Blagg, Aylek, Red Line and a few others. Came back a couple of hours later to find people had changed to BLR-1S, DDC LRM's and Victor's.... Things went from bad to worse and I'll admit I rage quit after 5 matches in a row when we'd meet a trio of BLR-1S or two BR-1S and a LRM DDC. Dying in under 10 seconds was not fun and those trio averaged 8-9 kills in all 5 matches. Being unable to get out of an alpine/tourmaline/caustic valley for 90% of the evening of LRM boats and poptarts did not help my temper. Noticed a trend to pilots in the top brackets pulling the plug as soon as they saw which map it was if it didn't suit them. Day three I started at 29th and pushed on for a couple of hours. The second of which I changed to my slayer and 2 of 6 matches sent my score soaring (other 4 were crap but nbd). Wandered off at 23rd with 1,992 pts and really did not care at all as hated the fact I really had to join the meta XXXX to have any chance. Kudos to the handful of peeps I saw doing well in things like BJ-1's. To the LRM and poptarts... just no. PS: Only good side is I managed to kill a load of top 1-3 spot people. PPS: Just to show the crap weekend I had in my DD....
