Ok, if at the end of the voting it passes I will start a fundraiser for it.

 

I usually get on here on a proper pc. But after seeing how the current wesite look from the phone, I'll support it now.

 

LOL that bad eh? Well XenForo themes (the good ones) have a build in Responsive portion that works with Cell Phones. Check out www.hadean.org as an example of what I mean. I don't use Tapatalk on it or anything, I just load it up with my browser on my Nexus and it works great. Long quotes are a bit of a pain in the ass because they are a narrow line all the way down the page but that is how I have it styled more than anything else.

 

Based on initial responses it looks like this is going to happen.

I have set an "event", found under the donation tab, which will allow people to purpose donations for this specific initiative.

Regardless of the sum you wish to donate I encourage you think about taking advantage of the anonymity provided through the portal; this is a team effort.

 

I want to contribute but there is no way that i can this month. Next month i can. Actually, why not wait till the first of October to do it? So we all have been paid?

 

I agree with Auriga. It would be nice to start at the beginning of the month or at least extend it to the end of October.

Perhaps there can be a "Hall of Fame" or some "Oldies but Goodies" section for each mech where some of the older 4 or 5 star builds can be reposted. I'm all for archiving the old stuff, but I also think that some older builds should still be visible to new players. We could do a poll for each chassis where we grab the top few builds and put them in a "Oldies but Goodies" subsection for each mech.

There are plenty of outdated 5 star builds that wont help much, but there are still a few good builds out there that may be older (and haven't been posted on in a while), but still work out alright.

I'd be up to try out some builds when I get a chance, and give a lesser skilled player's impression on some of the older builds.

Hall of Fame is a good idea

 

This will run till the end of October so that everyone who wants to can contribute. We are already 20% of the way there with some decent contributions from people who believe in the project so we will get there.

 

I may be a loud mouth SOB but I contributed cause this is the only place they let me run my mouth off!

 

When this reaches over around $150.00 USD I will go ahead and get the XenForo license and begin the installation process. This will run concurrently with this version and I can begin adding the theme and the migration as donations allow. Once it is all done (migration will be done last) I will cut it all over.
