Damn, the longer i look at the Black Widow, the more i fall in love with her.... grrr But still, i have to resist! This guy here from the official forum speaks out from my soul: What do you guys feel atm about the situation?
Everything about the Warhammer is perfect.... EXCEPT the arms. That is what is preventing me from spending money. The lack of content and the lack of development vision I came to terms with a long long time ago. At least 8 months ago. I accept MWO for what it is and what it always will be; a deathmatch.
The guy is right,... I don't even know whether, when and by how much I breached the 200 mechs boundary. But soon I'll have A LOT more from loyalty rewards and the 3 preorders still outstanding,... MWO is pokemech deathmatch online. I'm a sucker for collections (you should see my Jita 4-4 hangar) and never had a real issue with MWO being a deathmatch. But yes, it would speak better of PGI if they spent less time making mechs and more making the game better. (*insert WoT/WT/WoWs reference*)
Just think about future newbies running into this game with a couple of pewny mechs running into a group of players with 200+ toys in their garage.
Heh, Enileph. Anyone else wondering about the killer deal thing? http://mwomercs.com/news/2015/10/1367-killer-deals-2-added-bonus-when-you-purchase-mc They really are putting up plenty of sales now.
They used to have sale twice a month anyways. Before you usually get soem hero/color half off or something. Now that not many new heros are coming up so they do deals like this. MC/cbills wise the stormcrow one is ok deal though, if you don't have one (or three variants) already for some god forsaken reason. I don't use much MC nowadays consider I have most major colors already so it is not too attractive. Maybe I will wait for another mechbay sale (have only 8-9 left)
Same thing here. No use for MC atm as there's nothing worth spending on. Would have bought a WVR hero if it had been the 7M with an unique camo, but well... Even mech bays are easy to get these days. I got 11 alone from playing CW so far, and additional ones from events, rewards or even selling mechs from packages purchased.
I would like some of those rewards, but I'm better off just grinding a bit and buying them all. No sense in spending several hundred dollars to get different tiers of mechs then having crazy amounts of MC which I don't need...
Speaking of new stuff, the new patch is interesting. Updated new map, and also this FINALLY THEY TURN OFF THAT FUCKING 3PV PIECE OF SHIT BY DEFAULT. Yay. Also, IS version of MASC.
What??? IS MASC??? How did I miss this? It's not the Crab... AH! Wolvie w/ MASC... Verrrrry interesting!
Yeah. With 'meh' quirks and 'meh' hardpoints. Pulse Laser Range... and one E hardpoint. In the head. UAC/5 Jam reduction -30%... but then they put two B hardpoints in the arm, giving you the option of useful quirk, or shitty nothing. Missile Velocity boost... Meh. Cooldown is better. Add in that MASC is still not terribly useful at a 12% speed increase. At least I can take it off this 'Mech for more constant high speed. Duration before damage needs to be longer, and/or the speed increase needs to be closer to 20-30% to be worth the tonnage.
Agreed. The Wolvie is so meh that it will be gathering dust untill I don't know when,... And one has to keep in mind that I simply adore the chasis,...
UAC 5 + 2 SRM6 + MLas @ XL300 makes for a fine harasser for me. AC10 + 2x SRM4 + MPLas should work as well, but I haben't tested that one yet.
No point in wasting the SRM6 quirk. The MPL quirk is ignorable though, having 1 energy hardpoint. SPL maybe? Not usre about UAC5 or AC10. The jam buff is good, but not that big of a deal.
I'm in agreement on the Wolverine. Aside from MASC, it's just an inferior version of the 6R. And I've never been able to get a single UAC5 platform to work reliably.
