    Blagg, I have played some with the Awesomes (Quad LLAS, Tri PPC) and they are noticably more durable and quicker to cool off. They can be fun but in this metacycle they are still huge targets (Dire Wolf chow) so have to play them very wisely and use that profile.

    I have seen this performing quite nice. Most of it is theory as the mech was in the red team, but i think that in overall is accurate:

    Nice, i know that the quirks don`t change the hitboxes.. but the Heat Efficiency Buffs are great for better Sniping and Pewing at Mid-Long Range. :)

    I can second that...but a big part of that is a lot of people tromping into battle with Awesomes that they now, somehow, expect to be able to absorb 10x the damage. A lot of people still learning that more efficiency doesn't count as a shield still ;)

    I'm surprised no one's mentioned the stealth nerf on removing the coordinates from f9. really sucks when there's that desync disco against a wall somewhere and f9 doesn't work for location.

    There was a post somewhere on the forums where they mentioned it was to stop people from using them for team betrayal...but when someone asked how we were supposed to give proper info on areas of the map where people still get stuck, their response was basically "Uhhhh..."

    Don't think they quite thought that one through.

    lol, morons at pgi strike again. If a spd is just running away or goes somewhere to power down to save kdr, you know the grid as long as he's moving or you can see a landmark (or spec him before the power down). it's the desyncs that end up running into a wall where f9 really matters or you can't recall the starting grid location for discos at the start.

    That said we've had a few matches before the last patch where the last person was a 0 ping person from the start where we couldn't even switch to that person to give a loc. Somewhat frustrating for both sides! :angry:

    Not seen a post on the main forums about why they removed it but I wonder if its something else behind the scenes as it just doesn't make much sense to remove the coords.

    thank god. I wonder sometimes if things are bugs, or if someone has a 'brilliant' idea that they don't think through and instead purposefully change it and see if anyone bitches... listening to players is good, but they really need to think things through before making these dumb changes.
