Was quite amused. Strange thing is none of the people I personally know who bought gold mechs bought timberwolf's.

 

Com'n guys! It includes the top level Clan Mech package for ONLY DOUBLE THE PRICE!!!

You do have to admit though, the gold paint job does look pretty slick in their renders.

 

Funny thing is, if they were to say, include a 1/16th scale professionally painted figure of the timberwolf with that paint scheme, I would consider purchasing... But without something tangible, I'll wait for C-Bills

 

I dont endorse it, but i agree with you skidog, they should have something more.... tangible to go with it. I think they would sell more... At those prices at least.

 

It's to rich for my blood.

For that kind of jack I can buy a new Glock with all the bells and whistles, 5 or 6 Spyderco Para Military II's, or 2 new Stihl chainsaws. Something that I can actually hold in my hand.

I don't begrudge anyone willing to pay that much for their big stompy robot entertainment, more power to them. What I'm willing to spends does have limits and I'm pretty much at it with PGI now.

Won't be a big surprise when I see folks going all French Revolution like on these gold mechs. Gold class trolling will probably be happening.

 

its nice that you can buy a glock..... but where will you buy the bullets? hear: 9mm get sold out as soon as they hit the shelves.

Cause its all a PR scam... "Oh look, there are only 50 left... get yours now!" (subliminal message: other people have these and you only have a little time left to get yours).

 

Bullets are easy. Getting a competent PUG drop, impossible.

 

Strange thing is I quite often find sensible people in drops I'm in .... besides don't most people consider anyone else except their lance pugs.

Its why I laugh at silly people looking down on "pugs".

PS: Most of the world is too sensible to allow you to easily buy glocks or 9mm rounds so.....

LOL I don't think it will need to prompt it; Gold mechs are going to be primary on an epic scale.

 

The paintjob affacts judgement, friendly goldies are easily mistaken as enemies and be legged at the start of the game...
