Can you be loyal to one gal? I feel like I've been neglecting some of my old mechs that once served me well many times. My Wang has survived all my mechbays purges from the beginning, I think I'm going to try to play only my Yen Lo Wang for an entire week. Can any of you do it, pick a mech you haven't played much lately and take her out for a whole week? Included in your otherwise flawless CW deck as well. I know there's some neglected old mechs out there.
Ugh, I have a great deal of neglected mechs. In fact every mech I own right now except the Raven, King Crab, Dragon and Firestarter have been neglected. I've got another PUG Life video coming up so chances are I will be doing something new soon anyways. I'll do my three drops, record them and then continue playing something new for a week.
Way ahead of ya! Just before the Christmas break I rediscovered a Wolverine 6K under a pile of dust and rust. Haven't played another mech since (such a beast it has become) I could look into my trenchbuckets in case one needs to look up a truly neglected mech
It feels nice to take an oldie out. My Centurions are all especially neglected... CN9-AL remains my most played mech with great stats yet I don't even own it anymore
There is always mech to level. Even as I complete basic with all of them, and finish elite with the useful oens. There are still some I want totally mastered, and the rest to being above basic to get the double bonus. But bringing the old ride out once per day is not too much to ask for. Either this one... Quirk pass may help, really. This time some macro will be used to make use of the cooldown time. chaining 3 sets of 2xSRM4.
Mmmh not a bad idea. Not sure I can face it but there are loads I enjoyed... and never played once they were mastered. Will take a look.
I guess I do keep some "classics" in my garage that I don't play as often now...like the Ghost Walker or Direstar DWF builds, those are purely "dicking around" builds
Vergere had the idea to pick a mech with little to no exp (such as a new variant of an otherwise mastered chassis - like I've mastered all other Centurions but never even dropped in an AH or D). Spend one week in non-competitive games leveling it and post both the merry times and the sad times with a brand new mech. My first choice for a new mech was Commando 3A but I'm not sure if I want to play such a thinly skinned mech for a solid week. My reasonable choices are (some have a bit of exp) Jenner-D Firestarter-A/S/H whatever op ones are Hunchback-4J Hunchback-4H Centurion-AH Shadowhawk-2D2 Possibly others I can't think of atm.
