    In this case the Ember should be Tier 3 too... :rofl:

    It's assumed that the hitboxes are wrong espcially when using MGs/JJs....

    I think it's because of the dependence. FS9-E and JR7-F are good on their own. High damage on a light and good kill potential. Kills is what win you the game ultimately. The JR7-D is regarded slightly worse than the JR7-F because missiles can't really be aimed as reliably. RVN-3L is of a whole different kind. It lacks the damage potential that the other mechs have in exchange for utility. NARC, ECM, good tag hardpoints. All are extremely strong, but only when you have a team to back you up with the things you need. RVN-3Ls can win games, just not finish them as well as the other top-tiers can, while tier 1 can do both with pinpoint damage/crits. 2x ERLL build has been nerfed a ton recently.

    Yay spider 5K is on T5 and I already love it, can't wait to see what it's gonna get :D

    give me 2x Ammo per Ton so I can do this with 4000 mg rounds

    Stalker 3h on tier 4...interesting too :phear: and I could use some buffs to the jagers and the spider 5D too :D

    Yeah that was what I was alluding to with LRM's etc - some interesting choices in there which when buffed will terrorise the solo/small group side. ;)

    Personally I really enjoy Spiders like the Anansi so if they want to buff them then I'm more than happy.

    Strange Tier Table.

    Questions:

    Lights
    Why is the JR7-F T1 while the Firestarters with 8E is only T3 ?
    Why is the SDR-5D only T3?
    Why is the Huggin not in the Table? Ow i see, must be T7. :rofl:

    Mediums
    Why is there a GRF-S in T3 (Sparky?) and GRF-1E in T4 (also Sparky?)

    Heavies
    Why is the CTF-IM only T3 along with the DRG-Flame, QKD-5K and Catapults?

    Assaults
    Why is the STK-4N not T5?

    The rest is ok. Every Quirk for the IS is welcome as long they are not build-specific. AC20 Quirk for the HBK-4G feels strange. What if i don't run the BFG Build? No Quirk at all, unlike the general Awesome Energy Quirk? Not a good Quirk imo. Should be a Ballistic-Quirk in general.

    Other than the missing Huggin and the Griffin discrepancy, i'm not finding a lot to complain about in this tier list. The ratings are likely based on in-game performance and statistics gathered. It is hard to object with these placements if that is the case. We don't even know what the specific perks will be yet, so debating which mech belongs in which tier is getting ahead of ourselves.

    So basically DO NOT USE TIMBERWOLF-S BODY. Not that it is a good body to start with. Now it is just shit.
    This is done to nerf Timberwolf. Seriously, 4 fucking JJ. I can see 2 but 4 is just stupid.

    Also, kitfox take a minor hit. You will probably have 1 JJ to start with anyways. So you just need to take another JJ for another half a ton.

    You don't get penalty for having MG I think, You get bonus for having AC20 and another set of bonus for energy weapons.
    So yeah you don't have to equip them.

    But yeah It would be nice if you get bonus for all AC instead.

    The fixed JJ for Timberwolf doesn't bother me by itself, the problem is that when you look at the effects it puts the axe to certain ammo dependent builds that already take some nasty negative quirks for using S-torsos in the first place (slower turning, higher missile cooldowns, more risk when overheating). Speaking personally, if the S torsos are going to have ANY fixed JJ, much the less two each, they need at least one structure slot returned for use as free-space!

    If that is done to nerf the timberwolf, there are worse nerf in the world. And let's get serious here, the Timberwolf is by far and long the best mech in the game. A heavy with the mobility of a medium and the armor and offensive power of an assault. You don't get much better than that...so if they do some minor stuff here and there to somehow reduce it's awesomeness, I won't be complaining.

    Also, I don't see the fuss here. If the S torsos get that limitation, and you don't want to deal with it, then get other torsos. Yea, yeah, I know, to get four missile launchers you need them and that means that certain configurations won't work anymore. Well, get creative. Try different builds. Try the same builds with different setups (like...stop using artemis?. Still hell of a Mech with a brutal punch at short ranges, you know)

    I have it, btw, so is not that I don't mind some limitations to the T-wolf because I don't have it. All I know is, that the head over heels best mech in the game gets a relatively minor nerf is not the end of the world. And it actually could be worse, given how extremely powerful that thing is. Just live with it. It's not an unfair nerf, if it happens that way.

    That's at least kind of what lore was like. If I recall from the novels, the IS had pretty much no chance at long range engagements (excluding Morgan Kell directing battle from a hilltop on Luthien and never being touched by enemy fire) and the IS was OK (read: not as badly outmatched) in close quarters combat. I think that is what the Com Guards' plan was (once again, trying to remember from the novels), engage close range/use trickery and every possible advantage. If it works, it would be cool that both factions had different play styles. Would probably need larger maps, but the dropship spawn gametype may work nicely.

    Why are none of you talking about JJ turn buff?

    If I had that back in the day, game over. Was already doing 360 noscope snipes with 1 JJ in 3D.

    Means you can soak more in brawling, well, soak more anything really.

    To quote the immortal FPS Doug... "I can dance all day, I can dance all day"

    Those of us that use JJ's already celebrated, particularly the ones with fixed clan jj like the Nova and Summoner. ;)

    yeah I might buy the other 2 variants of the nova now.

    But on the other hand, so many weapon modules to buy :D
