I always forget about those (I) variants, thanks for reminding me. Since I'm not buying that one, I'll go ahead with my plan to use other variants.

I've found a few builds I like on the Nova (particularly the 2x ER PPC + 6x ERSL build), but this is one of my favorite builds in the game.

The 1-2-3 punch of 6x ERSL - 6x ERSL - 4x MG will open and then destroy almost anything.

 

Apt description with new skill tree focusing on JJ's, Heatgen+Coolruns and Cooldowns; ROFLstomp.

With full laser duration skills unlocked you can even be a raving poptart!

 

Is this still a viable build in 2019? I really enjoy the chassis, but only running 10erML. Still seems to be plenty potent and fun to play.
