I agree more with Remarius comment. Tends to happen more often that the opposite.

But think in this:
U are getting shooted in the back. Ur Firepower is above 70. Are u gonna die without firing that to someone? Its stupid, so u turn and try to deploy a little of that. Its that or dieing trying to catch fasties and end the match with 0 dmg done. Being a moving target is not funny.

The full point for me is to not leave anyone behind, man. Direwhales are damn slow, but decisive mechs also.

And bonus I met the medium that kept calling the rotation and killed him. Wasn't pretty or anything special. Just VERY satisfying.

 

Took 7 games to get my last 2 wins. 50th win was a joke anyways as my right leg was crit by a teammate's gauss round and I had a ton of friendly fire received via lasers. Oh well.

Amusingly check out my most successful mech this weekend:

STALKER STK-4N 11 10 1

Not bad for a no xp mech.

In fact 21 of my wins today were in no xp Stalkers (34 matches)!

12 were in no xp Timberwolves (22 matches)

Other 2 today were in the St Ives Blue (basics done - 2 matches) and 1 in my Hellslinger (Elites done - 1 match).

Not what I expected tbh.

 

I didn't take much, if any, damage from the strikes. They're just kinda boring and disruptive. It seemed as if one fired off every time the cool-down finished.

Finally got it tonight...here's what my new 3L looked like when I was finally done

 

Yeah one thing I will say for that competition .. it did marvels for the chassis's I was levelling. Not one xp wasted on a maxed chassis.

 

I saved the 20th win for now, I logged off without the redeem for the premium time, next log (after nova patch) in I will tell you if the PT comes already used or it's brand new on first log in; could be useful for next challenges

 

when I logged in I had 7 days...time to get stomped 1 time and now server down yay

at least I can say redeem on next log in works

 

Yeah I took it as a sign to have an evening of chilling.
