when i hit 20 Wins, the PT just activated after i went back to the Mechlab without asking me. Strange, i might have been dreaming. BTW i'm also looking forward to the Nova for CBills, even though the Variety of different Builds is limited. I might go for this instead full Laserboating: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=180&l=3b9529f55aee094dce5a4db34457363ab5b6285a The Rang of the Weapons is limited, but if you can get into a Brawl, u might get the Critkills.
Did you put a STD100 in an Atlas? Frankly, either you're not moving enough or not moving at all if you're getting hit by multiple strikes.
Well on the good side I went to the dark side and am levelling TBR's now ... not sure it helped as 2 ties 2 losses and then a win.... but gave me enough xp to do all the basics as so many components etc killed....
And regular wins now with kills and surviving..... Edit: Or not... as some really weird behaviour on both sides. Edit 2: Yeah easy mode ....
I'm 15 wins away from 50. Maybe I'll run my Ember or JM6-S since those have my best win rates, if I remember correctly
Unsurprisingly going TBR's even ones with no xp totally turned things around for me. Not even trying for 50 even though I have the day off as picked up my last missing mechs on Saturday. Still have 45m or so in the bank and 13 unfit/8 fit so will easily get those all fit as I level them up. Just need to pace myself as always. Despite the horrible loss rate at least I earnt a lot of C-bills/xp and every mech I used the xp was actually needed rather than just going to sit there for all time.
If I get another fool that suggests, "Let's rush and cap their base!" I will open fire on his ass... As per usual, when there is a challenge on, every halfwit comes out of the woodwork - I just played a game where only 1 lance stayed together. The rest scattered. WTF?!? What I will do when I'm done with this challenge is pick a build, anti light and sit on our base and just murder every yolo that trickles in while laughing maniacally.
I had a match last night where both teams were down to 3 mechs each, with everyone pretty much cored. Our side, consisting of a Raven, a Spider 5D, and a Kintaro with no LRM ammo decided to make a rush for the enemy base. Since we had ECM on our side, all they had to do was pick off one enemy, then hightail it out of there to get the win, but instead they decided to commit suicide by tower.
Won 3 in a row to organised base rushes where 2 assaults defended the avenues to our bases... and the other 10 rushed their base..... Am up to 44 now..... strangely a lot in my 0xp trio of stalkers.. I still hate Stalkers though but at least I can appreciate them a bit more now.
God save me from these retards.... 3 matches in a row in a stalker without speed tweak I've died because tey all rotated fast as fast as they could and abandoned their assaults. Clarion call is always led by a 95+km mech and they ignore you and run off like cowards even though you warn them they have slow assaults in the company.
What gets me is the same person always moans that their team are useless and that they just need X more wins.....
I generally loathe that comment in-game because I can observe that the assault that was complaining about the speed of the rotation isn't actively trying to get to the front of the rotation. Instead, they are spending 50% of their time trying to shoot and back-pedaling the other 50% of the time. The rotation is uncommonly actually too fast for the people complaining. They die because the opponent's assaults caught them, not that they were surrounded by opposing lights. They have to learn that a match locked in rotation is all about shooting forwards, not shooting backwards.
I had a delicious time doing that with six medium pulse lasers and a BJ-1X. Rolled Conquest Forest Colony and just sat on Sigma since I couldn't close under weight of LRMs. Killed a brave Spider and then a brave KFX and by then the game had moved to the roaming brawl so I got to go let loose.
Right... you wouldn't happen to be the medium that called the rotation and ran off at 95-120 would you? Your superb tactic and in each case 3-4 assaults and heavies died.... while you were miles away...
