Little more communication from the devs. Primarily improvements to UI 2.0 including the Smurfy style mechlab screen. UI 2.0 Dev not in meeting due to being "out on the dev floor having a nervous breakdown." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M07mAMz-i_0#t=483 Initially will be released as DISPLAY-ONLY to make sure all the information is there before integration. So my impression is that this "display" will be sent out with the first wave of UI improvements and replace the "Mechlab" Main Screen (that was previously empty except for your mech doll). It will show all the information seen in the picture, but non if it can actually be changed at this location. The actual process of changing your mech will not change yet.
Glad they are making adjustments to the format. But I still think they need to give NGNG the boot. I like NGNG but I prefer fan podcasts to be distinctly separate from official material.
So... where is the concept art for the Firestarter? They say it is already available but it isn't in the concept art section of the website. Do they even have a webmaster? I don't think they've changed anything on the website that isn't news or forum related.
