Lol, new record. It was just so hilarious, because I've been trying to get 1000+ damage (still no luck, so many 900+ but no 4 digits). This match, I could easily have pulled more damage . . . if they wouldn't have died so quickly!!!
Very nice but... Ban lances with 3 Direwolves its retarded as we kept having people gaming the system last night so had to fight 6 Direwolves/Warhawks (4th man in each lance was usually a 3L or 5D) on the other side last night when we were running around as a 10 man restricted to 2/2/3/3. Not like they were inexperienced groups of new players looking at their tag's.
Can't remember the story for this one, I'm sure it was a case of being mysteriously ignored while carving up the other team.
I seem to do better with ballistics for kill scores. Personally, 2-3 kills in a match is good for me and 4+ is a rarity, but I've got lots of matches with maximum assists or near it and respectable damage, but back before I took screenshots I know I managed to get a 7 kill match in an AC-20 Wang, and more recently got a 7 kill match in a UAC-10/3xML Adder. I can't claim too much credit for either match, as it was a perfect storm of being ignored for higher priority threats allowing me to backstab, enemies with extremely front-loaded armor, and teammates that wouldn't focus fire properly to down things.
I tend to agree, 3 Direwolves dropping together and focusing fire is deadly. BUT . . . that wasn't the case this match. I know it looks like I was dropping with those other 2 D-wolfs in my lance, but I really wasn't in their group at all. I was in a 2-man with Decanblue, and we got split into different lances because of the 3-mans on our team. So yes, fully agree; but no, that's not how this match was.
Me & the teams I fall in. This is the screenshot of the game where I got my Ace of Spades (pic has a couple weeks). Of course with my luck, it had to be a loss: Story is just too sad to share. To sum it up, and as I think it's obvious to see, it was "one of those teams". Was my first game in the Protector ,btw.
If not for that Awesome on the other side, that match may have gone in your favor...good kills though
The guy was really good, I can tell. And this is the game where I set my eyes on the Awesome seriously for the first time (was the next mech I purchased, and I don't regret it, I think is hugely underrated). But he was cored and should've been dead against the last 2 guys in our team who somehow managed to get themselves killed without shooting out his CT... man, I was MAD :/
Awesome's new perks make it much smexier, especially the bonus armor helping to counteract BEING the broadside of a drop-ship bay door.
Well the package really... reduced heat on using energy weapons, faster cooldown and enhanced armour.
I was really close to get my Ace..........
He he still doing a lot better than me today. Been deliberately team killed and struggling desperately to level up Mad Dogs.
Jenner F 5x Mlas 1x TAG, played 75% of the match with orange CT for a stupid overheat, but in the end I still managed to survive.
AC40 Jager is still funny, I cored more mechs to cherry red, this could be much higher in kills, all the 4 assist could have been kills that I missed for half a second, on last mech I was out of ammo. This match was really funny because I met their 2 IS lights solo at start, and 1 shotted them both at full health on the ST(I was really surprised, them being spiders), and then it was all BOOM>CT gone>dead, with people apparently standing in front of me trying to alpha, just to die 1 second later, on 6-0 I killed 6 mechs Then I could not break my record of 8, but in this I had a 10 kill potential while in my 7 kill I'd usually miss just a kill or two(and none on my 8).
May I contribute. SRM6, 2x MLas, 2x MG, 3JJ, XL255. I think this is my personal record so far Love the ANANSI and it will carry you
The Anansi is an easily underrated mech, especially with so many SRMCrows running around. On paper, it shouldn't be as dangerous as it is, but in reality, it's a nasty strike fighter. As for the AC40/Dual Gauss Jagers, I hate them with a passion. Running into one of them with my SSRM crow is a nasty encounter for me... Edit: Oops, sorry, I meant underrated. Was really tired when I wrote this lol
I'll echo both those comments. To this day people have a lurking dread of dual ac20 JM6's as they're relatively good speed and small profile ... primary! Really enjoy my Anansi and FB/DD.
