As of January 21st, 2014 MechSpecs reached the 4000 Members mark! What was once described as "...that little site" (with sarcasm and bile) is now more than just a little site, it is a healthy and thriving community. Some of you guys have some really strong passionate opinions but they are always interesting, usually informed and mostly harmless. A few of you have been here since the beginning but many of you have been playing MWO for a long time, through the ups and downs you guys have always voiced some great opinions (whether accurate or not is still to be decided). Hopefully 2014 is another great year for MWO and for MechSpecs!
Well, we share one passion (or more) and that is enough to bring us here and in the darkness bind us... Yes, I recently had a LOTR weekend. Again. hear: Let there be much MechGeekness!
Thank you very much for your effort to run this site! And congrats that it has become so popular - a fact which speaks for itself.
Thank you for the inspiration that created it, for putting up with all of us opinionated cretins & creating a haven for all of us that want somthing more out of the game. It has become... precious to us
Woooooot MechSpecs! The community is great, the site is awesome (especially the way it's organised), I'm really happy I found this site quite some months ago. Thanks for creating MechSpecs Michael, onwards to 5000!
I was pissed when ya'll went to the new forums, but with time I've gotten used to it. I love the site, especially when I get a new mech and say to myself "What the bloody FUCK do I put on this thing?" *instantly opens chrome and goes to mech specs*
Little community indeed... this explains why i'm seeing more and more MechSpecs builds out there in the wild.
Prepare metas for the next gaming night! Lights with only ECM and PPCs Mediums with only LRMS and tag Heavies with only SLasers Assaults with XL400 hear: or that's just crazy....
Me and my Buddy visit this site at least once a day... too bad though another buddy of mine couldnt put up with PGI antics and uninstalled his game today... kinda sad (these are real life friends).. Thanks though to Michael and everyone that contributes to the site...
Man I am on this site every second I can be. I consider this place my home on the net. Good people, good laughs, and good builds all around!
I've been a member since March last year and I visit the site on an almost daily basis. Several of the builds I'm running are either direct copies from those found here, or slight adaptations thereof to better suit my playstyle. Thanks for running a great site, Michael!
Am a recent addition, but love this site. And am always logging in to see what is new, and checking out the builds. Nice job, congratulations and thank you to you all.
