Just curious, how many (and how bad) crazy weight-imbalances have you noticed Match-Maker pull together? I've seen a few nasties myself, though as a general rule, I usually only notice when it's my team that's down . . . One from this weekend: 840 vs 640 I did the math, the two teams were precisely 200 tons different; they had 4 assaults (3 Dires and a Highlander) where we had none. And this one, which I've had for months now (and which is from before Class restrictions were in effect): 955 vs 600 Definitely one of the worst imbalances I've ever seen in 2 years of playing this game, with a 355-ton difference between their team and ours; they had 8 assaults (5 Atlas and 3 Stalker) where we had just one (a Stalker). All I could say was, "Ouch".
Had one today where our "heavy" division on a PUG team was 3 VTRs and 2 TBRs. Next heaviest mechs were a trio of SCRs, a DRG (not a 1N) and 4 lights including my Raven. Surprisingly, we did quite well, even though they had 3 DWFs and an Atlas.
Hey nothing like being a MLX with 3 DW's, 1 AS7-S, 1 AS7-D-DC and 6 TBR's ... of course that was our side yesterday the other side wasn't so "lucky". Thought it would be a milk run with perfect need of a scout until the TBR's charged in and the DWF's stayed wwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy back. We did win but the DWF pilots only moved in later on to get kills it seemed like. Will look for a screenshot as I think I took one as it was so bizarre a mix. The other team had the same class make up btw but not the same mechs... but I won the MLX vs MLX duel!
