Try to go with the original flavor of the original mech design before it is taken by battletech. The original design technically features 2x impact cannons at the arms and cannot be replicated, shame cause 2xAC2+2xMG would be fine. Currently it is 4x ML, working well. The energy cannon I am going to go with a PPC, though ERPPC would fit better it would not be as fun. Missiles, as it should be in a macross mech, with all the ammo, Too bad there is no IS streak6 yet.
Tested something very similar yesterday. I want with 4 MLas (arms) + 1LPLas (RT) + 2 SRM6 (no +A), thus combining IS laser vomit with the punch of the post-patch SRM6s. Very lovely.
