That's just it, most LRM shots don't register. Because they don't track that accurately. I have an average hit percentage with LRM's of about 30%, and most of the time, that's without A+ or TAG or NARC. I still don't understand how you think LRM's have been nerfed, if you can't hold TAG on your targets, or keep a NARC on them. I will run with a friend and hopefully some A+, and get some results.
The point is I haven't changed a thing about my play style. I'm not some noob muffin who doesn't know how to play the LRM Awesome. I was doing just fine damage before the patch and suddenly I'm not. The second picture I showed is solo. I know how to tag, fire direct, fire indirect. I'd LOVE for you to record the games, see if your can even break 400 let alone get to 700. While your at it check out the damage of the LRM boats you play with and against. I bet none of them even come close either. I have been checking them out and not a one had broken 400. None that I have noticed since the last patch. Please prove me wrong. I hope I am and can correct it. I enjoy my awesome, well I did.
30% from 1782 are still 534 damage and not 320. I am with Fuzzy, maybe I am still adjusting fully to proper LRM fireing but pre-patch, my 8R had no problem doing 300+ damage and in the rare cases where I would exhaut my ammo, I had my 500-600 damage. Now I have to struggle to get 350 damage? And yes, I know that a lot of shots are wasted due to tracking, lock-lost, geography, AMS, evasion etc, but that's to the point of being silly.
I took my LRM boat out into the Training Ground... was LRM damage always been all over the place like it is now? Testdummycommando was cored pretty normally but Testdummycicada, elevated compared to me (was in Terra Therma) was actually legged before getting cored. No complaints, just something I noticed. Or it may because the usual/easier to hit targets have a CT as big as the Medium/Lights in total hence why the spread is more noticeable on the smaller Mechs.
Not sure. I never really trust the Training Ground for real weapon performance. I mainly only use it for target practice and heat management testing.
The training ground takes NONE of your pilot skills into account. When you drop there you are getting base weapon and mech stats without any modifiers.
