Basically designed as an ECM bubble for the main force, with abilites to scout and snipe. Poptarting as well as flank sneaking is possible. SInce the clan erppcs do splash, the chances to crit an enemy when already open or hitting the rear is not bad. Combined with a color pattern of camouflage sort, it can be a great sniper/supporter. My second match in it, only basic heat management unlocked at that time: UPDATE: Targeting Computers work now, so here the version for extra punch and less AMS.Shifts the role a bit more to sniper and takes 2000 rounds from supporter. Update 2: thanks to radar deprivation and ECM AMS is of less use in PUG matches. So I modified my original build a bit for solo drops: Still in competitive 12er drops I prefer AMS for just in case.
I'll add my version of this: Similar but I run more AMS ammo-I find the triple AMS+ECM+Probe to be far too useful to the team to drop basically Attach yourself to the big guys and keep their guns barking for as long as you can.....
Tried the original build out on Sunday and love it personally... decent mobility, ECM bubble for you "friends" and that ERPPC is very nice at hitting those targets out there... coupled with Advanced Zoom I'm really enjoying this build... 5 Star rating from me on it... Thx. I run it with adanced zoom + radar deprivation when I am pugging, when I am in a premade lance I use radar deprivation + the AMS enhancing thingie. Don't get blinded by the small lasers, they do a real punch in close combat. That is what you want when you are forced to meet a Raven or Ember. And yes, Oxides are a haha for this build.
Have been running the original posted build in the Kitfox all after noon and have been having a blast with it. Doing pretty well damage wise and providing ecm and ams support is also a boon. 5 stars imo.
Thx again. Updated ifirst post with a Targeting Computer alternative. Had no chance to run it due to patch day issues, but will try out during weekend. Please let me know if it works as intended, if you got the fun to test it out.
Just curious how this build fairs up with the recent changes to PPC weapons? I'm thinking of using it, but would like some more opinions before I plow my cbills into it
For me it still works, PPCs are just a bit more ambitious atm. It is not that good on max. range anymore, but still is a punch on 500+ m. If you preaim like you do with AC/10s, you should not have any issues. You got to take more care of terrain and natural cover to get into optimum range. Frankly said, the cPPC nerf was not as close to insane as the cERLL nerf.
