    5/5,
This is the single best Jenner for the F series in my opinion. Large amounts of speed, jump ability and lasers, oh my!

    5/5,
This is still the quintessential Jenner build from back in the day.

I will use it again with range quirk, as I never bothered to get MLAS range and at least I have something different from what it used to be, even if slightly.

My fav. version has 15 DHS and 2 JJs. Putting 2 DHS in the arm you expose more when manuvering, mine being right arm.

You gotta use the huge CT at your advantage, or you can't keep up with better quirked monsters.
Compared to other quiked light this is still WAY hotter, I'd have loved a 7,5% heat gen buff instead of the range.

With the range buff (and a module), this will become an even better harassment mech. Will give it 323.125 range for max damage, which may not seem like much, but you can now hit up to 646.25 meters with both on. While you won't do much damage, it is a hell of a distracting, and sometimes that's the most important thing you can do, as it will cause people to panic and seek cover, not realizing you weren't even scratching them.

I always loved this mech, this just makes me love it more.

True but why not use a dual LPL Cicada as that fires at 5-600m optimal (will check later as mind has gone blank)?

For me, it's an easy choice (even though I lurve my Cicada): Smaller chassis, easier to sneak around, faster, less vulnerable legs, and jump jets. Jenner can easily fit under the ramps in HPG and all the crap in Bog, can traverse terrain in maps like Canyon better, and just overall is a bigger pain in the ass because of it.

I love the CDA, and use it a lot, but for versatility and mobility, the Jenner has it beat.

If I want to snipe with larger lasers, I'll use my 3L ;)

Agree on the Jenner but tbh don't see the value of a 3L anymore. Don't think i see them much except as narcers anymore. Seeing more Huginn's which is a turn up for the books. Oxides I see more than both added together. ;)

Honestly, when I switched mine back to the dual ERLL build (my 3L that is), it went from a low-performing NARCer to the mech that was carrying 75% of my games. Back in the To The Victors weekend, I think at least that percentage of games were over 800 damage with numerous kills. The reasoning is easy to sum up, based on something Escef said during one of his twitch streams:

    "Grr...sniper 3L. Ignoring it..."

The little bastard he ignored lost (time ran out), but not before he managed 7 kills and 3 assists. Given another minute, he would've killed the last two people easily too. Since I tend to play in the PUG queue more than group, I can testify on how utterly deadly the 3L can be in those circumstances.

Until someone goes hunting and you die painfully as several raven pilots found last night to my 4 MPL Jenner during the testing. ;)

I dunno what it is about me...but for some reason, it's never the lights that try to hunt me. It's the Jagermechs, Dire Wolves, and Warhawks.

I get funny luck like that sometimes ;) But anyway, that's 3L life. This is the MythJenner post! ;p

    5/5,
fast, good alpha, perfect hardpoints, you need 15 DHS and 2 JJs, to min/max the cooling eff and the agility, and use any possible slot (mandatory for me on FF upgraded mechs).

It's 317 but yes, it's a huge difference, even backstabbing, the most is your backstab range the better you can do it.

Finally I have some reason to run my first love on solo drops...and it's freaking fun with the added range!
