This was my standard build for the Jagger-S back in the day, until I started running triple-AC5, quad-AC2, and all that other fun stuff. I liked it for the varied cool-downs on the different ballistics, which actually served to mess enemy players up fairly nicely, as they tried to figure out how many different 'Mechs were firing at them! Now, with the recent changes to AC-5 and AC-2 cooldowns, I'm considering returning to this one, to make use of the advantage which AC-10s now provide over the other smaller ballistics. If you're one of those "go big or go home" types, check out my "Heavy on the Spice" Banshee. Or, if you're really insane, check out their little brother Shadowhawk, "Go Easy on the Spice".
Can fit this and the DD, will sure try but looks great ! and I like the idea of auto chainfire with cooldowns! No ammo restriction with 3 tons each cannon, not too much armor stripping (41 is the least I usually put on legs on heavy), backups....rated 5 stars as it's really optimized, now that AC2/5 are 3 DPS and the 4 from AC10. Potentially not as devastating as the Chainsaw, but much more constant(and more damage potential from ammo, with 1T more, tho less effective range). free image hosting first game in it, evil damage, with half ammo left might need tuning in ammo, maybe dropping 1T of AC2 for a T on AC10, because many time you alpha and retreat, making AC10 finishing first.
Glad you like it, fx. This has always been a favorite for me, and I think it always will be. And I think you may be right about ammo. Obviously any time you alpha and then pop back into cover, you're going to be using your AC10 alot more than either of the other ballistics, since the 2s and 5s won't have the chance to make use of their faster recycle times. Also, with the recently-reduced cooldown times on 2s and 5s, they also need less ammo now than they used to, compared to 10s, 20s, and Gauss. So yeah, it might be a good idea to swap a ton of AC2 ammo on this build for a ton of AC10; or, you might simply drop a MLaser for an extra ton of AC10. Either way, I've always found that this build tears up nicely, and it has sufficient ammo to do 1000+ damage any time.
