This is as yet untested, but what I'm thinking of running once I get the JM6-A variant to finish the Jager XP tree. Its a port/mod of what I have been using on the -S with good results. Any comments on what I did wrong or what could be better? Would I be better off just using LRMs or SRMs instead of AC20? Do the missile hardpoints suit the Jager chassis? I never see any JM6-A variants when dropping.

Welcome to the forums, Lime! Same. I love SPLs on a light, but, without the speed I'll stick to MLs. Looks like a solid build. I don't own an XL280 and I'm a cheap bastard. (I buy mechs instead of engines that would make my current builds more versatile) Anyway! I'd throw an XL260 in and up the AC/5 ammo a little. I love running an AC/5 from range. Great weapon to wake someone up!
Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking the forums for a week and finally decided I wanted to get some feedback on my idea. Well I was just basing that on what I have seen others suggest. They had said that SPLs offered slightly less damage for better heat managment, so I figured I'd use those to minimize heat. I was figuring they would only really come into play when all my ammo was gone or I was trying to swat at the spiders flying around me. I would definately swap them to MLs if you think the range outweighs any heat advantage.
