Easily substitute the B.A.P for AMS and Ammo. A lot of versatility in this Mech. You can sit back and support then once your LRMs are gone easily go on the offense and still produce big damage or you can do what I did, use it as a second line assault mech fighting within 300 meters and pour on the pain with devastating LRM and SRM strikes. Just be mindful to use cover when possible to protect your engine. The scores speak for themselves.
HA! GREAT name!!! I was sure it was unintentional, but, though you might want a friendly note instead of twenty hate-mails.
Tried this build out again. No spectacular numbers to show for it, just a solid, consistent 500-600 damage. I really like this build for that reason. It's just so reliable. I was running w/o BAP or CASE and a ton less ammo in exchange for an XL295, however, this thing still just pumps. Play the LRM game as you approach and sit back a little behind your main line. Wait for a scrum to open up and then I'd just sit and lock onto one target, fire a salvo, pop a few SRMs and MLas into a closer target, keeping those LRMs on the enemy heavies further back. As I said, mostly 500-600 damage rounds with 1-2 kills and 7-8 assists. However, I did have one round with 4 kills. All LRMs. Only 400-some odd damage, but, LRM kills always feel sneaky good. hear:
